Since no one made a thread. You know I gotta give the guys props, they tried, but if this was any other night, we could've won the game. Mike James played very well, Andre Barrett did really good for his first game on the team.

Detroit really clamped down on Bosh though, and man, so many blocks for them in the game. The guards couldn't get anything inside. Also when Mike James missed that open layup, was he trying to dunk or something?

I was pretty happy with this game. The Raps showed some decent defense, ball rotation, and Mike James had a very good, unselfish game. Man, Detroit just killed it from long range. It seemed like every time the Raps were coming back into it, one of their guards just nailed a dagger.

Was that supposed to be a joke? If so, it failed.

Andrea Barrett was pretty good too in his debut...he had some a few bad decisions though. Bosh just needed to get fired up, but it wasnt going his way that night and Mo Pete caught fire too late.

Andre's Barrett Showcase: 2006 Omar Cook. Hopefully Barrett performs better than Cook and proves to be a keeper next year as a 3rd string PG. He looked very good last night, especially for someone that just passes his physical prior to the game.

Barrett's production, sadly, will likely drop off with time. It was the same case last year in Houston and Orlando, but he hasn't stuck around because of his lack of size and consistency. His shot is shaky, although he really has a talent for finding open teammates. That said though, I doubt he'd stick around as a third point guard after Calderon returns from injury.

Pretty good move by Colangelo to pick him up from the D-League.

Yea he was, the Suns just dropped him, and it was either return to the D-League, or go to the Raps who called him up right after he was released.
