"Every time I've seen Daunte, I saw him with the cars with the crazy colors, so you'd know it's him. Hate to see him go. "But I've got a friend in life with him and Randy. I just hope this is what he wants. I know he's from Florida, or at least from the area. So I wish him the best. I hate to see that. Damn! Wow." Culpepper's departure leaves Minnesota with perhaps just two sports stars, among its four major pro teams, with any national profile: Garnett and Twins outfielder Torii Hunter.
