    Hey peeps
I wanted to know who you guys think plays the best with Shaq.
Not the individual stats but who has shown the best teamwork with Shaq.
So far, Shaq had Penny, Kobe and Wade.

Kobe Bryant because they won 3 rings together with a less talented supporting cast.

Counter-argument is Shaq was clearly in his prime at the time, which probably had more to do with it than his chemistry with Kobe.

How exactly can this "best partner" question be measured? It would be nice if we could look at total assists - Penny/Kobe/Wade to Shaq + Shaq to Penny/Kobe/Wade. But I don't think play-by-plays are available for all those past years.

Counter-counter argument, the Lakers dominated the superior conference. I guess you can use stats to measure efficiency, winning % etc. and then weight it based on Shaq's output to compensate for his declining impact.

But the only number which trumps all is 3 rings and 4 Final appearances with Kobe.

    Shaq and Penny- 0 rings
    Shaq and Kobe- 3 rings
Shaq and Wade- 0 rings (could get some in future)

Well even though Shaq and Kobe didn't get along during that 3-peat in the playoffs they got it together. It could be ugly when they weren't on the same page but when they were on, it was beautiful. I'm gonna say Kobe.

Shaq will probably retire in around 5 seasons, unless he wins four more rings, I don't think Wade will be the better partner.

I'm just playing with you there. [IMG] To answer your question, I think Wade played most harmoniously with Shaq but Kobe was more effective with Shaq.

No, Kobe had the Shaq that was easily capable of 30 PPG, 13 RPG and about 3+ BPG. In the playoffs he was putting up 30 PPG constantly. Wade has the Shaq that is good for 24 PPG, 10 RPG, and in the playoffs last year was good, but not 30 PPG Shaq.

Ok yall say that kobe did better with shaq what. you say that he played a better game and he took them to a season win. You gotta look at it this way shaq is older now back then when he was with kobe he was younger and he had more energy.

    Kobe

3 Rings is all that needs to be said. Even though Shaq was the most dominant, the success is what matters.

I'm liking how Shaq instantly made Miami a contender though. It took him 4 years in Los Angeles to win a title. It took him 3 years to get to the Finals in Orlando, but in his 1st year with Miami they already got to the Conference Finals in their first year and winning a title with Shaq and Wade healthy was defeintly a strong possibility.

    Hands Down. Kobe.

I loved Shaq, Penny, Anderson, Grant, and Scott. I cheered for that particular Orlando team to win it against Houston. I dont think they ever reached the level that Kobe/Shaq duo reached though.

As for Wade. Wade is clearly the man in Miami. Shaq is his sidekick. The Wade/Shaq duo however good, is not the best at this point.
