We have a 20-19 lead with about 2:00 in the first quarter. We need to show that type of intensity night in and night out. If we can do that we'll win a lot more games.

If we can remain competitive and lose (or dare I say) win, I'll be happy.

    Who's next?

We have to win this game - Detroit can't even handle our run!

    Doesn't matter. We win.

Not even the refs can take away the game from against and save the overrated Pistons, my favorite win of the season, I love it...great day.

The Knicks beat the best team in the NBA. Granted it took Rasheed Wallace getting ejected followed by Rip Hamilton's ejection and a push off that went uncalled by the refs to seal the deal but the Knicks won. Doesnt sound like much of a win. On the other hand I can think of a few games last season that the Knicks lost because of lousy officiating so I guess the refs owed us this one.

Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.

Detroit has just lost to the worst team in the NBA that makes them overrated. I know Rip and Rasheed werent even playing in the second half but that shouldnt have stopped the Pistons from winning. Prince and Ben Wallace may not be big time scorers but against the likes of Eddy Curry and Jalen Rose they should have looked like it. How about that poor defensive play by Billups at the end? He let Crawford school him. Yes I know Crawford pushed him but still... Bottom line is no matter how short handed you are, no matter who's on the court you should always be able to put up points against the Knicks no excuses. The Pistons didnt do that...so their obviously not as good as everyone thinks.

Rasheed and Rip are Detroit's main offensive threats, and key defensive threats as well. Billups distributes the ball, but the offense is really ran through Rasheed a lot, and they create a lot of shots for Rip as well. Although they exactly their core in defense, Rasheed is a very big key also. They still probably shouldn't have lost this game but the Knicks are very talented. If the Knicks play the way they are capable of, I wouldn't be surprised that they beat any team in the league on any given night, even away.

Without Sheed and Rip the Pistons are still a legit playoff team and better than the Knicks. Even with them the Knicks were making a run and by the time Rip got ejected we already had the lead. I don't care who got ejected and what not - the Knicks won and the Pistons lost.

We can't be picky with the little wins we have.

Knicks won, but that push no call was crazy. Detroits not an overrated team at all...however now that they've gone for offence they've let the fundamentals slide a little bit,d their rebounding for example. Detroit will be out of the playoffs by the 2nd round IMO.

great win by the knicks. but remember its only one win so dont get your hopes up. but i have to say its impressing at the least. maybe this win can clear up some problems in the locker room, so guys can just focus on playing ball instead of killing each other. anyways, great win and congrats

    yes pistons are overrated

since week 2 of the season people have put them on a different level from the rest of the league, including Miami and even SAN ANTONIO. WHO OWNED THEM LAST YEAR> wtf? makes no sense. And Miami took em to 7 also. We'll see if they can live up to their new found expectations. Go spurs

It was a good game. If they had not kick rip and wallace out of the game the pistions would have won. But the freethrows at the end was terrible he should have made the first one and missed the second one and somebody get the rebound nobody was aleart about any of that

They've been compared to the 95 Bulls, and elite teams in the 70s and 80s.

lol...what, you think they're underrated? Lets not forget how bad of a coach Saunders is in the playoffs. People thought the Twolves would go all the way with Cassel/Sprewell/Wally/Garnett/Kandi. Never happend. Miami are getting stronger and more healthier coming into the playoffs now. They're 9-1 in their last 10 games, and are truely my favorites to face San Antonio or Phoneix in the Finals.

    Pick one team.
