They are an elite team, 2 years straight in the finals, and had an amazing start to the season. Their style of play wasn't compared to the Bulls, their record was, see the difference?

    Did I say that?

They went to the WCF, and lost in game 6 to Kobe, Shaq and the Lakers. Your going to fault him for that? Saunders was in the same boat as Garnett, he only had 1 good team he coached (also the only good players Garnett has had around him), and they reached the WCF. Then the next season, Cassell and Sprewell were huge distractions and disrupted team chemistry. Detroit is even better than last season, because not only do they have great defense, but now they have a good offense, and I give credit to Saunders for that.

I actually think Miami is going to beat Detroit too, if they are healthy.

Bottom line is, no team that is 51-13 should be considered overrated.

I just feel they're more to the overrated side than underrated side, I guess we think differently about Detriot, we'll see the results in the playoffs.

I have to agree with j0se about the Pistons on this one. They can be overrated and still be one of the great teams in the league. The comparisons with the Bulls weren't justified, especially so early in the season. The media tended to act as if there was a huge gap between the Pistons and everyone else, when, in reality, the Spurs and Mavs just struggled early on. Currently, I can't really say that the Pistons are that much better than the Spurs or Mavs.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting phunDamentalz:</div><div class="quote_post">since week 2 of the season people have put them on a different level from the rest of the league, including Miami and even SAN ANTONIO. WHO OWNED THEM LAST YEAR> wtf? makes no sense. And Miami took em to 7 also. We'll see if they can live up to their new found expectations. Go spurs</div>
The main reason on why you think Detroit is overrated is because everyone hates them for being first, for clinching playoff spot, for having probably the best starting lineup in the NBA, because their good.

It doesn't matter who owned them last year, it doesn't matter if Miami took them to 7, who cares, the point is Detroit is not overrated, they are a good ball team and i think that your just being fanboy on the fact of SA beating Detroit last year. I like SA, they are a really talented ball team, but please think before you even say the phrase: "Detroit is overrated".

EDIT: Crawford did the same shot against Raptors and won it, same thing happened here. Boy the guy is clutch.
