I'm pretty sure you know his real name since he was one of the best players for the Nets last night.
Someone please close this thread. I am getting sick of this comparison. Come on seriosuly wats next? Nenad Kristic is better than Shaquille O'neal? Off-Note: Terrell Owens: " I am a star among stars "

Let's keep the quality level up gentlemen. As for the Kobe-Vince feud it's just an overblown media hyped feud without much warrant.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Laker_fan:</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe swatted a Vince Carter jumpshot away. Kobe also had 11 assists which meant that he was double teamed all night. Thats more than double his usual assits figure. Kobe had the better game by Carter stats wise. I don't thinm Vince contained Kobe that well because Kobe's been in a shooting slump recently and he shot around the same percentage as he has been recently. I never saw the game so could somebody explain who had the better game?</div> <div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">Jason Kidd was the player guarding Kobe at the end, Jason Kidd was also the player who hit the daggar for the Nets.</div> Not to make it a Vince vs Kobe thing, but Vince had 11 of the Nets last 16 points, and made the assist to Kidd on his three. Who was guarding him? Vince also played great defense in denying the ball from Kobe, and when Kobe finally got it, he was 28 ft from the basket, and no, it definately was not Kidd guarding Kobe, Kidd was like 5 feet back watching.

I think they both hated each other. They wanted to prove their point in the game. Both of them had an off game.
For the last tme...there is NO beef between the two. Empra!15 please post like someone who knows what they're talking about. Also, Shape Kidd is the one who got the rebound off the Kobe airball at the end I'm pretty sure Vince was guarding him.
There is no "feud" between Kobe and Vince. Kobe fans are just pissed becuase VC said scoring 81 points was'nt good for the NBA and because they almost got into a fight like 2 meetings ago.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker15:</div><div class="quote_post">^^Please stop withthe excuses. Everyone blocks shots it happens and apparently it didn't affect the game to much. Also, I think Vince blocked that last second shot by Kobe. I'm glad Kobe had 11 assists because he has capable players like Lamar and Smush around him. Stop making excuses for Kobe that he's in a slump or whatnot the fact is that Vince shut him down on themost important possesion of the game. I'm sure Kobe had a better individual game, but what matters for both these teams is who wins. Also, Vince AND Kidd were sick as Vivre mentioned.</div> First of all, VC didn't shut anybody down. Kobe still had a great game, it was just more turnovers than he should've had and more missed shots than he should of had. Kobe's been in a shooting slump lately, VC's defense had nothing to do with Kobe's bad shooting last night. Also, I can understand you calling Lamar a capable player, but you forgot that he's only be consistent since after the trade deadline. Before that, you could never count on him for more than anything than assists. But please, do not call Smush a capable player. His stats are misleading. He has too often bad games and he's a liability on defense becuase he gambles a lot. Sure he gets a nice amount of steals, but those don't show the missed gambles. Not good. And for a point guard, Smush barely gets 3 assists, that's pathetic. I don't care if he isn't the main facilitator, he should be getting at least 4, if not 5. Smush is nothing more than a tweener who could make a good 6th man, not starter quality. He's too big and slow to play the point guard position, the only advantage he has down there is his slashing, finishing around the hoop, and size. Yet, he's too small to play the 2, he'd get crushed every night.
Basically, I'm going to close this. This was blown out of proportion. There is actually no fued between these players, VC made some comments, but a lot of people took them out of contrast. No Fued. Thank You.
