The first thing wrong with the lakers that they dont have any good inside presents inside the key. They have Kwame Brown and Chris Mihm. They dont really dont do any thing expect stand there and watch point guards lay it up in front of them. Second the Lakers need to improve in there bench yea they got Devean George, Brian Cook, and Luke Walton Basically everyone else on the bench are no good. The last of the problems is inconsistely and defense. They need to be consistant and have good defense from the first minute to the last minute. I strongly belive if the lakers do this they will be a very good team and make it to the playoffs maybe the finals.

The Lakers are actually looking better even with the losses. Kwame is playing solid low post defense. Odom has picked up and his playing at a much higher level, Bryant is well, Bryant. They are just not closing it out.. I do see more consistent play from the team.

We are still in the hunt for that 8th spot and possibly that 7th. If we had won the last two games that were very close, we could have taken the 7th since Sac also lost 2 in a row!!!

    Have faith! Lets GO LAKERS!

the inside in looking pretty bad, I still think we can squeeze in at the 8 or 7th spot now.

    1) Chris Mihm has been great for us this season. He's been a consistent third scoring threat, even a second scoring threat sometimes and his rebounds have been going up. In January, Mihm averaged 11 and 6, but he had some big games during that streak. Our record would be much better if Lamar had turned the corner earlier this year, not now.

    2) Kwame Brown is our best post defender. He gives every player a fit, if he could put up 12 points a game, that's all we need out of him.

The Lakers big problem lately has been on the defensive side of the ball. They have not been able to close out games. Yesterday, they had a 16 point lead and then fell apart. Against the Nets, same story. Double digit lead, fell apart in the 3rd. These Lakers need to come out in the 2nd half with the same intensity they had in the first, and they're not doing it. In the last two games, the Lakers have scored a combined 32 3rd quarter points, and have been outscored 105-72 in the second half. That right there shows they need to step it up and dig in come 2nd half, cause they're not doing that right now. Whether it's fatigue or something else, they need to figure something out before they fall out of the playoff picture entirely.

Sup guys, havent been here in a few days since the Lakeres were losing and I couldn't bear to talk about it without wincing and holding back tears,

BUT I did notice a bright spot today when looking at the standings to see if the Lakers were still in it, not ONLY are they still in the playoffs as of right now, they have actually grabbed the 7th spot from Sacremento. The reason for this I beleive is because LA holds the tie breaker and LA has also played more games, 2, which they split 1-1. Funny isn't it how despite losing they still moved up?

What are you smoking? Kwame is useless and is taking minutes away from the only other player we may have, Bynum. Kobe and eleven stiffs still makes the playoffs, but one and done doesn't do anything towards building a championship team and Buss doesn't deserve a dollar of playoff money for bunch of stiffs. Here's hoping we don't make the playoffs and get a better draft choice to trade for Garnet, if Minn. is as stupid as Mitch was with Shaq.

kwame isnt useless. yes, he doesnt have much offensive game, but the guy plays great defense and shuts the other opposing player out. bynum has shown time and time again that he isnt worthy of a lot of minutes. 5 minutes per game is enough. the guy is too weak and doesnt play much D. he also isnt smart enough to get much PT

your smoking crack. Seems to me your looking at the box score and aint watching the games. Kwame has been great on Defense. If he could just be consistent and give us 12 and 10 he'd be wonderful. BOX scores never tell the entire story. Odom has also helped out in recent games. Support your team man, or go home...

True dat. People who are hoping Kwame will turn in to JO, KG, or Zach Randolph need to give it up. He shut's down guy's like the list above, anything else he gives you is a bonus.
