A veteran NBA scout has told The Observer on condition of anonymity that Hansbrough could be a top-17 pick. Hansbrough said he hasn't given the draft any thought yet. I think hansbrough needs to come back, he impressed the world by his performance against duke but he looked really soft vs BC and in the tournament.
He should go back. One more year will do wonders for him. Plus UNC will make a run for the final 4 with all their young talent including their recruiting class, and his stock will rise even more.
Please, Ty, use your head and come back one more year. Make a run with Wright, Lawson, Ellington, Stepheson, Thompson, Graves, and our current squad. We only lose Noel. This is not just a Final Four team next season, this could be the favorite come preseason.
I'm definitely pulling for Hansbrough to come back because we'll have some special brewing if he does. Ty Lawson, Wanye Ellington, and Brandon Wright are three top 10 players out of high school and we'll probably be tough our first year but can you imagine if all of them stay for four?
