Watch the NBA.com Highlights the ong entitled : "Fantasy: Kobe Bryant" Kamla is an ass he sez kobe shouldn't be MVP and that he's not impressed with 43 pts, 5 rebs, 4 assists, 5 steals against the Celtics
I've given up backing up Kobe, too many haters out there to fight them all...I could really care less now. Besides, it would be no fun if EVERYONE was a Kobe fan, having haters is what makes it fun.

Maybe he expects alot from kobe since he scored 81
Yeah he's the fantasy guy. I watch him everyday on NBATV He acts like he has a master degree in basketball but watching him talk about Fantasy basketall makes me laugh. He's like bragging about knowing what people already know.
Maybe his his opponent had Kobe this week in his head to head matchup so he's a little sour about it.
Rick kamla's not a kobe hater anyone who's watched his show knows he respects kobe's game. he even gave him the nickname king kobe, after he scored 81 points. He beleieves like alot of people do, that your team should win 50+ games to be considered the MVP.

Kalma is a big KG fan tho. I wonder how he would respond if KG does go to the Lakers. To say 43 points isn't impressive is biased because he always says Yao is impressive when he goes 18-13.

He was impressed with 43 points, but NOT on 39 (that's 39!) shots. It had nothing to do with being against the Celts. And he said Kobe is not considered a top-3 MVP candidate because his team is only 1 game above .500 and barely in the playoffs, which if you think about it is understandable is it not ? You obviously don't watch a lot of Kamla because he actually is a big Kobe fan, far from a hater.

I dont blame him for saying that either! I seriously took 40 shots today but 37! 37 damn it! And it aint free throws! Lakers should release McKie and sign me! LOL

Kobe took 39 shots to get it. That's probably a little less than a point per shot attempt, taking trips to the foul line into account. That's not efficient at all. He didn't hit a three pointer, and he didn't get to line very much considering all those shot attempts. Like he said, if you're going to be taking that many shots for your team, you need to be scoring over 50 for it to be considered a really good game. There are a lot of players that can score 43 points in a game if given 39 shot attempts. He's not hating on Kobe. He said Kobe isn't a legitimate MVP candidate (very good reason for that when you're team is one game over .500) and he said the 43 points isn't that big a deal considering the shot attempts (which is very true as well).
To make Kamla's opinion more important than anyone else, I could take his job and probably do a lot better than he does.

Obviously if you're going to judge a player's efficiency solely on how many points they convert from attempts, you don't know how basketball works.
why is it that if someone disagrees with you all, and says somone other than Kobe deserves the MVP, or is the best 2 gaurd, or the best player, they are automatically labelled as a kobe hater? Is it possible to not think of Kobe any differently than Dirk, Nash, Duncan, Wade, Lebron, KG, and not be "a Kobe hater"? i'm sick and tired of seeing someone labelled as a kobe hater simply because he has criticism or becuase he likes what some one else is doing better. Would the offening people please stop. The world is not black and white. If it were and you were right in calling everyone who doesnt LOVE kobe a hater, than you'd be the opposite extreme....you'd be a bandwagoner. PS - i didnt listen to the OP link..so i dont know if this guy went directly at Kobe attacking him personally, but i speak in general terms.

How else would you judge a player's scoring efficiency if not by points per shot attempt? Straight field goal % is a laughably misleading stat, btw. Chauncy Billups shoots a lower percentage from the floor than, say, Chris Webber. But Billups is way more efficient because of threes and free throws. How does a "knowledgable" person such as yourself define scoring efficiency?
kobe is betta than lebron as in rite now..maybe in tha future it will change... but rite now we kno kobe is better....

You're making a blanket statement towards Laker fans. Not all Laker fans see Kobe as perfect. I certainly don't, I call it as I see it. I agree 43 points on 39 shots isn't impressive at all. With the characters on this team, Kobe has to score a lot just to give this team a chance to win. The supporting cast just isn't consistent right now. It's getting better, but the 1st half effort takes a nose dive in the 2nd half in the majority of the games. The Lakers highest win % is when Kobe scores 40+
