    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Ron Artest isn't concerned.

You won't detect it in his expressions or his tone - and certainly not through his words. The Kings forward sized up Sacramento's two-game skid, how he and his running mates coughed away winnable games in Indiana and Minnesota, and how it thrust all hands right back into full scramble mode.

So what does he see beyond the ever-deadly and dangerous Ray Allen and the Seattle SuperSonics coming into Arco Arena tonight followed by an increasingly critical stretch with the Lakers, Utah and Golden State? A bright future, that's what, rose-colorerd glasses not needed.

"We had two bad games," Artest explained. "We're going to get back. We're not worried about it. We're going to be fine. We're still going to make the playoffs. We're not going to lose in the first round, then take it from there."

So now the Kings are second-round playoff material. What happens with a four-game skid? Conference finalists?

Artest, remember, boldly declared that after losing close games in Boston and Toronto to close out January that the then-18-26 Kings would make the postseason.</div>

Im not worried either. No team thats out of the playoffs right now is going to outplay the Kings for the rest of the season. Plus the Kings have a more consistent style of play now.

Who are you hoping they face in Round 1? Phoenix? Dallas? or Spurs?

You don't think your team will be in the playoffs? I think they'll be one above the Lakers in the 7th spot, behind the Grizz.

I would love it if somehow LAL and SAC met in the playoffs again. Would they have to meet in the semi conference finals or the WCF?

It would be a ghetto version of 4 years ago but the NBA would love it, as would I [IMG]

Artest better start shooting the ball better if he wants to get to the second round.

He's batting .200 on 10 for 50 from the field over the last 3 games. Ouch.

I know, he's also liked the three way too much since he came to Sacremento, since when was he a great 3PT shooter? He needs to pull those percentages up, or maybe start shooting a little less.

Actually Artest was good from 3 point land in that statistical bloom in the 2004-2005 season, 24 ppg, 49% field goals, 91% free throws, 41% from 3 point land.

I agree with the fact that Artest defintely needs to shoot better. I mean, 10 for 50, that like Artest playing through his own defense. If he wants more touches, he better make good use of them.

Artest has shot like 40% from the field ever since he came to Sacremento.

And they're not going to win 2 games in the postseason, much less win a series.

Kings came from 8 games below .500 and played themselves into playoff position after acquiring Ron Artest for Peja. This season was a success for the Kings no matter how you try to cut it (provided they make the playoffs).

Well they've won two in a row going into tonight's LAC-SAC matchup. I think this is almost a must-win, they've gotta be able to string together some wins approaching the playoffs.

As for advancing, it's gonna be hard. The Kings have been pretty terrible on the road all year, while Phoenix, Dallas and San Antonio have been fantastic home teams. The Suns, I think, are the only beatable team they could face, but even that won't be easy.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dtpxcore:</div><div class="quote_post">you guys are in trouble of not making it to the playoffs.</div> Looking at the Kings and Hornets remaining schedules its highly unlikely that the Hornets can come from 2 games back to pass the Kings with 8 games left in the season. The Hornets WILL LOSE their next game against Detroit, which means if the Kings beat the clippers again on tuesday the Hornets will be 3 games back with 7 games remaining. At that point the Hornets passing the Kings is NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Please Kings, get a win on tuesday.

I dont see the Kings easily getting past the first round unless they can make it to the 6th spot which is NOT gonna happen.

That means most likely is that they get Phx in the first round... It will be an interesting first round, the Kings CAN beat phx (and have done so twice this year). I dont see the defense as being their achilies heel this year though... Oddly enough its going to be their offense that might cause concern.

If they cant get going and keep the offensive turnovers to a minimum they will maybe win 2 games in the first round (maybe)
