Well if anyone caught the Michigan Notre Dame game, then you might care. Because i only saw the last 5 minutes of the game, and the double over times but it was a pretty sick game. Michigan won on a fade away, high arching three by Dion Harris in double overtime, it was tight.

I'm just hoping for Michigan and Cincy to meet in the finals as a sort of middle finger in the air to the selection committee [IMG]

Did anyone catch the end of the FSU/South Carolina game today? At the end of regulation FSU had the ball with 3 secs left under their basket, they throw it away, Balkman catches it on the FT line, the clock DOESN'T START until he crosses half court and they end up scoring before the buzzer, but they took the basket away. They ended up pulling off the win, but still you have to put time on the clock and give USC a chance, because they would have shot it from 3 pt land if time was running out.

I agree to an extent. I mean if Balkman saw the clock was winding down, he would have shot the ball before, I don't think you can punish the Cocks without getting a shot off because of the clock. I would have put up like 1 second on the clock and let them get a shot off.

To honestly answer your question I don't care about the National Inventational Tournament, but it's nice I guess. To me the teams are just out there to show the real selection committee that they deserved an NCAA tourny bid.

The N.I.T. to me means Not Interested Tournament. I like that they have a tournament for the teams that didn't make it and everything...but watching two mediocre teams play while March Madness is going on just doesn't interest me...

South Carolina looks poised to win their 2nd straight NIT tournament. They continue their great play from the SEC Tourney and i wonder if they could have pulled an upset or 2 in the NCAA tourney if they had beaten UF to win the SEC title and get the automatic bid.
