Game comments here. BTW Ellis is awesome He brings to the team something that we lack which is primarily dribble penetration and lateral quickness. Let's hope his shooting and his free throw %'s get better. It's hard to beat the Spurs though... they play almost perfectly when it comes to points off turnovers. Warriors have to man up though, any zone or double teams are going to get us punished... if we run or play slow we have to play defense... the Spurs were built this way.

Bob is just one of those announcers that tap dances rather than tells it like it is. Barnett could tell it like it is but I think he dwells on less important things and tries to be hopeful and optimistic. This team makes tons of mental mistakes out on the floor and we get chewed up so easily down the stretch. Plus, we have to stop playing zone next year. We need to get some better defenders that can also score and pass.
I hope things change soon. I mean we stayed very close with the best in the league, but the nba is a G.M and rich man's game, not a coach's game. How often can you be in charge of something, but not get the guys that can play team basketball. Hell, if I was boss I'd want to pick the guys I'm going to work with and be in charge of... Unbelievable how many layups we miss and how we can't do the fundamentals. Now the spurs, they have the talent that fits and they play like a team ...and winning makes everyone look good. If the Warriors can just find that foundation to build on so the players complement each other, play well as a team, we'd be in business. Right now we're just stuck on the outside all the time and we can't play any kind of defense to make up for how slow we are. That's why I don't like slow perimeter players or guys that constantly get burned. Offense... we just need something honest inside play and guys that can shoot, handle the ball, pass and move quickly.

We lost to a good team (championship team) and they had home court advantage. We stayed close though. I'm never going to stop complaining until we get rid of these defensive liabilities on our team and get some honest inside/outside game going. I am so frustrated with Montgomery's 4th quarter lineups because it goes against things that he likes in a team which is ball movement/inside/outside game + man-to-man defense. But rather than rip on the coach, who maybe forced to play this way (I dunno, but I don't think he's a retard here), I'm blaming Mullin for not getting any quality FA's that actually help solve our team's problems in the middle and at the point(regardless if there were any good FA's left, he overspent and now we can't do trades as easily). Teams like us just can't rely on rookies without the supporting cast and we can't operate as a team if guys keep playing these roles which they are not suited for in their position. I am just so upset with how many problems this franchise has, but it's like what can we do? These problems don't go away over night or in one or two seasons without making the right moves first. We need an impact move and we can't be making moves to undo previous moves without gaining something as well. We've been trying to undo too many things and it causes more problems. How about we just don't mess up to begin with? Next season, I hope we get Ike/Biedrins/Taft whoever to get us some inside presence as well as some defense at PF. I hope we get some additional perfimeter D from our guards and wings. I hope we start playing a center that can catch a pass or a rebound... PF/C's need to be in control of the offensive glass and getting 2nd chance points if the majority of shots are coming from the outside. If we want to run we need guys that can finish inside and out and make good decisions with the ball on the break. Fisher just cannot do this... It's frustrating. Then I check some warriors forums and its like fans are pointing to a housefire when the whole town is burning... It's like why bother sometimes...
