With only fifteen regular season games remaining, the Chicago Bulls will try and work towards keeping their postseason hopes alive when they visit the Indiana Pacers tonight (6:00 p.m. CT | CSN-Chicago/ESPN Radio 1000).

The Bulls look to take a lead in the season series with the Pacers, currently at one win apiece, while bouncing back from a 113-104 loss to the host Wizards on Sunday.

Ben Gordon scored 20 points for Chicago (29-38), which trails the Philadelphia 76ers by (31-35) by 2 1/2 games for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Indiana (33-32) hopes to come back after an awful 105-75 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. Jeff Foster scored 15 points and rookie Danny Granger added 13 and 11 rebounds off the bench for the Pacers, who posted their third road loss of at least 30 points this season.

Indiana enters Wednesday's contest locked in a virtual tie with Milwaukee (34-33) for sixth place in the conference standings. Both clubs trail the fifth-place Washington Wizards (34-32) by one-half game.

Tune in to watch today's game on Comcast SportsNet Chicago or listen to it on ESPN Radio 1000 (pregame show at 5:30). Visit Bulls.com or click here now for a complete preview of this evening's contest.

    Injury Report

    Bulls
Luol Deng (left eye corneal abrasion) and Chris Duhon (low back pain) are probable. Darius Songaila (right foot fracture) is out. For a full report and the latest on Bulls' injuries, check out the AthletiCo Injury Report at Bulls.com.

    Pacers
Jermaine O'Neal has been out since Jan. 24 with a torn groin muscle but could return as early as tonight. David Harrison (sore left wrist) and Fred Jones (torn ligament in left thumb) are probable. Scot Pollard (sore lower back/left foot) is day-to-day. Austin Croshere (concussion) is out.

    Series Notes
Chicago and Indiana split the four-game series last year, with both teams defending the two games on their home court ... the Bulls have not won this season series since sweeping the Pacers (4-0) in 1996.97 ... Chicago has won five of the last seven regular season games at the United Center, but has dropped 14 of the last 15 regular season meetings at Conseco Fieldhouse ... the Bulls have defeated the Pacers just seven times in the last 26 encounters ... prior to this season's win at Conseco, the last Chicago win at Indiana was on Mar. 17, 1998, a 90-84 triumph played at Market Square Arena - team-high scorers that game were Chicago's Michael Jordan with 35 points and Indiana's Chris Mullin with 18.

Why don't they start and play Sweetney more? He is a power forward after all, a player at a position where they are lacking, and he is a great rebounder, and is very young with potential.
