I think we should do whatever needs to be done to aquire either. We need a superstar that embodies the game of basketball, someone who can carry the team on his back, and a guy the garden can really get behind.

well, you guys dont need another guard, thats for sure, so just say no the AI. what you do need is some big man presence that gets it done defensively and offensively.

i think you guys need AI, baron davis, and gilbert arenas. then you can put out an entire line up of shoot first point guards

    pg-iverson
    sg-marbury
    sf-francis
    pf-baron
    c- gilbert

too bad there is only one ball (how many times have nyk fans heard that this year? lol)

Marbury hasn't been a shoot first PG this season, watch the team play, especially if you're going to critisize the team.

    Marbury is constantly passive.

If his players don't look interested in scoring or taking the shot, he's forced with 5 seconds on the shot clock to score, because he spends 15 seconds looking for lazy teammates who take stupid shot selection and play indivually and not rotate the ball.

Knicks need to trade everyone except Lee and Woods

The last thing the Knicks need is A.I. Kevin Garnett would be nice but if he cant carry Minnesota why would he be able to carry the Knicks? The Knicks in the words of Charles Barkley "are like a fat woman at a buffet, they need a little bit of everything". For starters Curry needs a heart. Crawford needs a brain. Frye needs some courage. Robinson needs some platform shoes. Richardson just needs to shut up. Taylor and Rose both need to stay glued to the bench. Jerome James needs to go on a diet. David Lee needs to get some minutes. Francis needs a lobotomy and Marbury just needs a ticket out of here. The Knicks as a team needs some toughness and a fire lit underneath them. And the franchise overall needs some damn accountability.

Anyway I think Isiah Thomas needs to be fired.

yea we do need a superstar, that leads the team, i would love to have iverson, kg is cool too, but it wont happen cuz no team wants marbury, i bet isiah's next move is trade marbury for a bunch of useless expiring contract players

When he says AI, I think he is moreso reffering to players at his status, like the superstar status. So if he's saying AI he's basically saying guys like Duncan, KG, Kobe and so forth. To keep it concise. The Knicks need THAT SUPERSTAR player. Do they need it know, no. But before the whole Francis, Rose and so forth ordeal maybe a superstar in the big apple wouldn't be bad. Personally if I was a Knicks fan I'd trade the whole team except for Frye and Lee for just one superstar player.

I'm not interested in a superstar really, especially a couple that are going to be on the decline in the next 2-3 years.

Please, end Isiah and Dolan's existance, trade all the contracts, and start over the right way.

One thing i'm liking here is how it seems like everyone is on the Lee/Frye bandwagon. At least the fans are paying attention, even if the Knicks brass are not. These guys obviously show promise and are worthy of building the team around IMO. The Knicks' "superstars" are obviously not working out.

I think Larry Brown needs to find a way to motivate Eddy Curry. I praise this guys potential and I think Larry Brown can get effort out of him on the defensive end. If this guy learns how to box out, rebound, and play better defense watch out. Eddy Curry is wasting his talent.

Are you serious? How often do you watch NBA basketball? Nash, Kidd, Baron are way better than Marbury. Arenas is too. He maybe a shoot first point guard but at least he does something to give his team a W. When Marbury passes the ball more the Knicks lose. When he shoots more they still lose. Best PG......yea ok..

I may be wrong, but I think it is sarcasm. Remember Marbury claimed to be the best point guard in the league a while ago?
