<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Wafer back: Life as an NBA rookie can be a dirty job. Just ask Von Wafer, who returned after three weeks in the NBA Development League to lose a shooting contest with Lamar Odom and have to peel off Odom's sweaty socks after practice.

But Wafer was happy to be back from Fort Worth, Texas, even if he might not get off the inactive list the rest of the season.

"I kind of missed here a lot because we're running the triangle here," Wafer said. "If I'm with this team, then I need to know the triangle. So I was kind of losing a little bit of the triangle knowledge while I was gone. But it was a good experience."

Wafer played eight games with the Flyers, averaging 8.0 points and went 23 of 69 (33.3 percent) from the field and 7 of 31 from 3-point range.

"A lot of shots. A lot of bad shots," Wafer said. "I just forced the issue a little bit and tried to make it happen."</div>

Lamar can do whatever he desires on the court. He just has to be aggressive. As far as Wafer goes, hell get his...

Thats relatively harmless and all in good fun, though. Hockey hazing is much, much worse.

I'm more distrubed by the fact he lost a shooting contest to Lamar.

The way Lamar's been shooting recently, I'd take him over every player on the Lakers team, apart from Kobe.

Yeah Lamar is shooting over 50% from behind the arc since the ASG and over 60% from the field. His mechanics are much better because he's jumping into his shots instead of fading to the left.
