I watched this whole game, I'm suprised Cheeks doesn't use Iggy as a defensive specialist made him play zone alot, too much zone play, 76ers on paper look like a top 5 team in the East....team needs some defensive specialist and more physical post defenders. Drafting a big PG would help too.

I'd trade Dalembert for a guard, draft Shelden Williams and play him at C with Hunter coming off the bench.

I agree with what your saying, but the biggest reason why Cheeks is forced to use a zone is because of the defensive deficiencies of the rest of the players on the roster. I'm not saying Iguodala is the best defender ever, but he is a lot better than anybody else we have on our roster.

When we play man to man, we just get burned repeatedly. Iverson doesn't try too much on defense all the time. Korver hustles and goes at it all the time, but he just isn't athletic enough to defend his assignment all the time. Webber lost his athletecism, and looks like he uses his knee as an excuse not to play defense. Dalembert is just an idiot. Hunter is getting better, but he is still far from where he should be.

The problem is that when we play zone, we don't box out (not that we do in man to man either, but still), and we allow the opposing team to get easy put backs. We also let them get easy backdoor alley-oops and lay-ups when we are in a zone... it is really pathetic.

Our starting line-up is top 5 in the East on paper, but there are a hell of a lot of things holding this team back... not only with our starters, but as a team and organization in general.

P.S. I'm not surprised we lost...
