The more and more I look at our roster and how this team is at this point, is just strengthening my opinion that Billy Queen should be fired. He doesn't have a plan, he's not getting us anywhere, hire somebody that cares and actually have a plan. I don't care if there's a petition or what, but he really needs to be gone.

    Anyone else agree?

im right behind you PD. i honestly dont care what happens now because im honestly just sick of the whole sixers thing. what does BK want to do, win now or plan for the future?? he has absolutely no plans. im guessing he wants to win now since he has AI and webber on the same team, but he hasnt done a thing to support them. does he want to win in the future? i honestly dont know. we have some bright future pieces on our roster, but it wont help if he keeps trading our draft picks and picking up stupid contracts. it also doesnt help that he traded lee nailon, and our 2nd rounder for cleveland's 2nd round pick which will most likely be lower than our just to save some money. in the trade, he basically said he didnt want to win now by saving little money and getting rid of a bench player, and also saying that he doesnt want to win in the future by trading for lower pick. what's BK's plans? i dont know. all i know is that i dont really care right now, unless i see this team has a path they will want to follow. if i could, i would tell every sixer fan in the world to stop coming to the wachovia center to watch their games. we need to boycott or something to tell BK we've had enough

    - peace

I've been saying this forever... as long as Billy is our GM, he'd much rather be at BK than running the team.

Also, he said today that he plans on using the MLE this offseason, and he has talked to a lot of players who have expressed interest in playing here for the MLE. Now, when I first heard that, I got my hopes up, but then I remembered Billy King is our GM, and he'll probably shell out the entire MLE to a guy who averages less than 3 mpg in the CBA.

Im thinking that he hired those bad coaches we've had last few seasons cause he wanted to get that "fire Billy" chant off of himself.
Dude is a complete moron,he gives too big contracts and I belive he actually ruined our chance to win it all after we lost in 2001.He decided to trade George Lynch and Tyrone Hill.2 good role players that were old but knew their spot on the team.He started to look for that other scorer that he thought AI needs besides him but actually we needed a 3 point shooter that can hit few a game.(Look at those 2001 finals games and say we didn't)
