After watching the game on MNF against the Chargers, they put Duce Staley inactive. Willie Parker was the starter but "the bus" Jerome Bettis got most of the touches. As long as Willie is going up against strong defenses like the Chargers, expect him to be back to the third string again and Jerome and Duce will duke it out for starter. Willie needs to gain weight while Jerome needs to lose weight. I don't really think so because he has good balance for a guy his size and can really run through the middle if you saw the game winning FG drive.

On the flip side, Tomlinson had a pretty bad game rushing for less than 100. He still extends his record and has more recieving yards than rushing in that game.

The steelers are reporting Duece may not be healthy all season...it will stay Willie and the Bus splitting with Veron getting 3rd down touches.

I think they'll go with the hot back. Parker has the burst to break off huge gains, but against the stingier defenses, they'll use the bus as a battering ram to loosen up play action passing.

Exactly..and After seeing Willie against NE and SD I think we will be seeing more of the bus..unless your O-line is just gashing the opposition.

Many people forgot about the Bus, but the bus is about to make a coming back tour

The bus made a come back tour last year! I agree that they will use the bus against teams with a decent run defense and Parker against teams that can not stop the run so he can break some huge plays.

I think the Steeler should use the Bus, like Ex-Lax, to loosen things up a bit for the explosive Willie Parker.
