Davis, 37, was waived by the Raptors Thursday and should be clearing waivers Saturday. Thorn said once Davis clears waivers, Nets brass may discuss whether to offer him a vets' minimum deal. Chicago may also be interested in signing their former team captain.</div>

I could see why he would sign with Chicago; his family is still there...But they won't make the playoffs so if he's going to sign just be with his family, then I understand...

We could use him though. If just another big body we can grab some rebounds and play tough D. Right now, we might stack up against Indy in the first and definitely could use more bigs to stack against the rugged line of JO, Foster, Pollard, and Harrison.

We could use him in the post as our PF but he does'nt get along with Vince Carter so it could ruin our chemistry.

If he wants to be with his family, then he should just retire. He has enough money, and he's played enough ball, so if he doesn't want to play anymore he needs to retire.

If he feels that he still wants to play, I would like for him to sign for the Nets. But didn't Toronto waive him because of an injury problem? Because if that's the case, I dont' want him on the team.

AD hates Toronto, probably was faking the injury.

    AD hates carter even more.
lol i still remember when AD got traded to the Bulls and cussed off Carter. He told a report that Vince is fake, weak, and not a good leader at all.
After that, his first game vs the Raptors AD and VC got into a pushing contest underneath the basket and resulted in AD pushing Carter hard onto the ground, after that VC just started crying and threw the ball on the ground and walked off.

Carter threw the ball at AD and AD walked away, don't sway the fact.

Vince never got ejected that game...Vince kinda ran into AD on a play, then he got mad and threw the ball at AD (very lightly) and then AD just smiled and walked away
