With the season winding down, who do you think was/is the Bulls MVP this season? Kirk Hinrich - 15.7 ppg / 42.5% FG / 36.8% 3FG / 76.4% FT / 3.4 rpg / 6.3 apg / 1.1 spg / Ben Gordon - 16.4 ppg / 41.7% FG / 42.7% 3FG / 76.4% FT / 2.7 rpg / 2.9 apg / 0.9 spg / Luol Deng - 13.7 ppg / 45.6% FG / 30.4% 3FG / 75.4% FT / 6.6 rpg (5.0 def / 1.6 off) / 1.8 apg / 0.9 spg / Tyson Chandler - 5.2 ppg / 56.6% FG / 48.2% FT / 9.2 rpg (6.0 def / 3.3 off) / 1.1 apg / 1.3 bpg / Andres Nocioni - 12.0 ppg / 45.7% FG / 39.9% 3FG / 83.6% FT / 5.3 rpg (4.3 def / 1.3 off) / 1.4 apg / 0.5 spg / Chris Duhon - 8.6 ppg / 39.5% FG / 36.4% 3FG / 82.8% FT / 3.0 rpg / 5.0 apg / 0.9 spg / Darius Songaila - 9.2 ppg / 48.1% FG / 81.7% FT / 4.0 rpg / 1.4 apg / 0.6 spg My vote would have to goto the man from Wow, Sudan - Luol Deng. Taking into account more then just stats he has been the most consistent player on the team (in my view) going on the whole season.
I'd vote for Luol Deng. Kirk and Ben have gone through their good and bad games. Andres started great with his three point shooting and all, but then he went down and couldn't make a shot and now he's finishing strong. If he stayed consistent through the whole season I would of voted him. But, Deng has been consistent and doing great scoring and rebounding.
I’m going to go against the curb here, and pick Ben Gordon as the teams MVP for this season. All players have been up and down, including Deng, Deng’s consistency really picked up after the all star break. Gordon is my MVP for this season simple, because he had to overcome more than anyone else on the roster. He had to earn his way into the starting lineup, with all the trade rumors amidst, he also had to learn how to create his own shot without a big man to bail him out. He improved his field goal percent from 33% earlier in the year to low 40’s. Although, still not perfect it’s at least more respectable.
Why wouldn't it be Andres Nocioni? His name never occured to me until I was looking through the stats posted and he's doing really good. I was just happy with his hard defense and never noticed that he's leading the team with FGs, obviously 3FGs, and FTs. We're really struggling at the line, we can't get there and when we do we miss. He's playing hard Defense, has very comparible stats to our starters, and he's only averaging 25.6 minutes per game.

(EDIT: Didn't remember from the stats above, some of them are wrong like Hinrich's FT, it's 84.1) He used too for 3 point, until he totally went cold. I was thinking about voting for him because he started the year hot because he was knocking all of his 3's down and then he went cold and now he's getting back to it. But, he still hasn't been knocking treys down. He does play good defense, and he gets his points from jumpshots and mostly driving hard to the basket.
