Didn't see a thread, so I thought I'd start one. <font color=""Navy"">Final Four LSU over UCLA Florida over George Mason <font color=""Navy"">Championship LSU over Florida Yep, I'm picking an all-SEC championship game. Both teams have the best frontcourt and, with UConn out, I'm taking LSU, my other championship pick, to win it all.
Final Four UCLA over LSU George Mason over Florida Championship George Mason over UCLA <---- So I look like a f*cking genius if it happens. Seriously though, what are the odds? Not as bad as you might think. Florida's frontcourt has been superior to all the froncourts they've faced in the tournament so far, but after watching a lot of George Mason games in the tournament, I'm not so sure that their frontcourt is any less impressive. Jai Lewis and Will Thomas actually remind me a little bit of Glen Davis and Tyrus Thomas at LSU, especially physically. Glen Davis and Jai Lewis are both ridiculously wide and beefy for their heights. That would make for a pretty interesting matchup actually, but I'm too high on UCLA's defense and Farmar's decision making to pick LSU over UCLA, so that leaves me with a UCLA and George Mason final, where I think the crowd in Indianapolis might get so much behind the underdog George Mason to the point where it'd be like a homecourt advantage for the Patriots.
Final Four LSU vs. UCLA George Mason vs. Florida National Championship George Mason vs. LSU
Florida over George Mason. UCLA over LSU Florida over UCLA. Joakim's grandfather will continue to sacrifice chickens for good luck(9-0 since he started after he saw Joakim drop 37 in his 1st game ever seeing Joakim play) and Joakim just won't let us lose. He's playing with more heart than our whole team had last year.
Come on, save the chickens I'll say UCLA over LSU in a squeaker; that should be just one hell of a college basketball game. And...Florida over George Mason. In the final, I'll take UCLA just barely over Florida; the only reason is that I think UCLA's backcourt is just a smidge better than Florida's frontcourt. By that I mean I think UCLA's biggest strength is just a bit better than Florida's biggest strength, if that makes any sense lol.
LSU over UCLA - Unless Thomas and Davis have a horrible game or get outplayed by the Bruins frontcourt I think LSU will win. Flordia over GMU - Noah's been playing great and so has Horford. They have some size on GMU's frontcourt, but, that didn't matter against UConn, but I think Florida's frontcourt is better.
UCLA over LSU Florida over George Mason UCLA wins it all. UCLA's frontcourt is just as athletic as LSU, and the defensive zone they use has shutdown high scoring teams through out the tournament. Jordan Farmar refuses to let his team lose games and UCLA is a strong 2nd half team. Florida and George Mason is going to be a great game. Both teams are playing with a lot of confidence, but Florida is making better adjustments and are peaking at the right time. I'd love to see another upset, but it's hard not to like what Joakim Noah is doing.
I'd love to see Mason win it all, but I just can't see anyone, whether it be Forida or GMU, beating that frontcourt of Glen Davis and Tyrus Thomas.

Yeah, they're both talented as hell, but they've got their weaknesses too. LSU didn't go through this season undefeated. For example, Ohio State and Cincinnati's frontcourts dominated the Tigers. Florida has beaten them twice already too, so I don't see why you'd doubt their ability to beat them.
This final four does not deliver. Sigh, anyways..my picks. Final Four LSU over UCLA Florida over George Mason Championship LSU over UCLA __________________________________ The freshman and soph's prevail. Good luck in the NBA D.Mitchel. LSU will be back in the same situation next year if nobody leaves.

Also, many people underrate Garret Temple and say, who? Watch for another amazing defensive performance by him.
LSU over UCLA. GMU over Florida. LSU over GMU. Thats how I think its going to go down, Im a huge LSU fan cause of Glen Davis and Tasmin Mitchell and yes Tyrus Thomas but im not letting that make my opinion into a bias. GMU has been the cinderella team this year and I do think they can take it to Florida even though they have Joakim Noah and Al Horford. UCLA is good but I dont think Hollins, M'bah a Moute, Farmar and Affalo[sp?] will be enough to stop LSU.

Double-digit performances in all of his games in the NCAA tournament so far. If UCLA can pound it in to Hollins early, draw the defense in, and then kick it out to Famar and Affalo for the three ball it could be a long night for LSU.
My prediction: Final Four UCLA over LSU (72-67) Florida over George Mason (64-57) Championship UCLA over Florida (would be a big shocker, but they got the depth and talent) Score: 62-60

Anyways, i'm taking Florida over UCLA in the final game. While UCLA does have a few solid big men, I don't think there is anyone left in the tournament that can shutdown both Noah and Horford...especially with how well these two are playing at the current time. I never thought Billy the Kid and championship would ever be associated in the same sentence, but I believe he's gonna prove me wrong.
