<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Luke Schenscher is here to stay. At least to the end of the season, anyway.

Schenscher, whose second 10-day contract expired Saturday, has been re-signed for the final 13 games.

"Luke's an interesting player. He's got size, good hands, a nice touch,'' coach Scott Skiles said of the 7-1, 265-pound rookie the Bulls picked up March 5 from the Fort Worth Flyers of the National Basketball Development League. "We can use size right now.''

Schenscher -- a native of Adelaide, Australia, who played at Georgia Tech -- has impressed Skiles even while playing on a sprained right ankle, which was injured March 15 in a loss at Milwaukee.

"Unfortunately, his ankle is so bad you can see [the black-and-blue bruising] going all the way up to his knee. It's slowed him a little bit.''

Schenscher said playing in the NBA has been a longtime goal. "It's something I've dreamt about for 12 years. I'm just trying to calm myself and not get too excited or too overwhelmed with the situation.''

Schenscher has played in 10 of 11 games since joining the Bulls and has modest statistics: 2.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per game. He has made 76.9 percent of his shots.

"The way I look at it is as kind of a tryout for next year, as well,'' he said. "Scott's given me a good run on the court. I just have to make the most of that, keep doing what I've been doing, and try to work as hard as I can.''</div><div align="center">

hopefully the Bulls sign him to a deal next year and we might get some Bulls game on down here instead of Bucks, Bucks, Bucks.

At least you have Foxtel. I see about 1 game a season. [IMG]

Well done to Luke hopefully there'll be 3 Aussies in the NBA next year, with Newly likely to be drafted.
