Charlie V scored 48 points! when's the last time a rookie even came close to that? even lebron james never scored 48 as a rookie. That has to be up there in terms of points scored by a rookie in the last decade.

I would be curious as to where he ranks up with the all-time scoring totals among rookies.

I know that Iverson scored 50 in his rookie season... It must be up there, im pretty sure chamberlain would be up there too, he won the MVP and rookie of the year in the same season.

    ^^thats heavy

charlie scored that much, and prolly had about 5 plays run for him all game. just shows what a good scorer he is.

now, if he works on his defensive rebounding and his low post D, he'll be a FORCE

I think he's third overall as far as rookies:

    1. Wilt - 58 points.
    2. Iverson - 50.
    3. Charlie - 48.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

^ Jordan scored 49 in his rookie season also...

I was watching the score and they actually went through a list of players who scored more than 48 in their rookie season. So as good as a performance that was, it still doesn't rank that high in the history books... He is the only rookie to score that high in almost a decade though.

How did "Charlie Who?" score 48 points, is this game when Bosh got hurt or what? He was on fire I guess, he didn't even do this in college or even showed signs he could do it. Now I know why he was picked in the lotter......
