<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Raptors added some frontcourt depth Monday, signing free-agent centre James Lang to a 10-day contract.

The 6-foot-10 Lang is with his second NBA team this season. He was signed to a pair of 10-day contracts by the Atlanta Hawks in early March but did not appear in any games.

Lang was originally chosen by the New Orleans Hornets in the second round of the 2003 draft. He averaged 8.3 points and five rebounds in 32 games this season with Arkansas of the NBA Development League.

Lang is expected to be in uniform when the Raptors host the Miami Heat on Wednesday.</div>

Don't really know much about this guy. He was drafted in 2003 48th overall out of highschool. I think he's had some weight issues. He was former Mcdonalds-highschool all american. Espn. com has him listed at 22 years old.

We'll see some of him tommorrow night against Shaq, but this guy is nothing special. Declared for the NBA draft too early and never got back on his feet after that, and his NBDL stats don't really impress anyone. Could be a guy we take on for the remainder of the season but he's not going to do much.

A guy that should've definately gone to college, could've been a pretty good college and then pretty decent NBA player if he did IMO.

I'd like to see the Raptors sign him to a contract for next season. He is a young player with good upside.
