<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Since I had these guys nearby, I couldn?t help but get their thoughts on the NCAA Tournament and who stood out to them as guys who could make an impact at the next level and who would be hot prospects come draft time. They loved all the obvious guys - have I mentioned Joakim Noah here before? - many of whom we?ve discussed here relentlessly.

But they were extremely high on one guy that I wasn?t really up on until this past weekend.

They all professed an affection for Marcus Williams from UConn, which surprised me a bit, since few people considered him a big time prospect before the season started. But two different guys told me that they feel like he?s the guy in the draft pool who could have the biggest impact on an NBA team because of the position he plays (a true, pass-first point guard in the Mark Jackson mold), his size (6-3, 205) and the fact that he?s left handed and extremely physical.</div>

What a terrible comparison with Mark Jackson, he's not on the same level with Jackson's basketball IQ. Mark Jackson would not have made those crucial turnovers and would never let his team come out flat during the tournament. Mark Jackson also wouldn't steal laptops and risk his career to make a quick buck.

I really like Marcus Williams, I think he will be good but I cant compare him to Mark Jackson because I've never seen the guy play, he was in before my day.
