<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">PHOENIX (AP) -- Amare Stoudemire has been sent back to the sidelines for further rehabilitation work on his left knee, Phoenix Suns coach and general manager Mike D'Antoni said Tuesday. Stoudemire will not play Tuesday night against the Bucks in Milwaukee and is "probably doubtful" for at least another week, D'Antoni said in a telephone interview. "We don't know when he'll be able to go," D'Antoni said. "We just want to err on the side of caution and make sure he doesn't do anything that jeopardizes his well being. It's not much fun for him to go out there without any pop." Stoudemire underwent microfracture surgery on his left knee and had missed the first 66 games of the season before playing in the last three. The All-Star forward had 20 points and nine rebounds against Portland his first game back, but has been increasingly less effective in his subsequent two outings. </div> Source
Too bad. I liked the way he contributed in the first game of his comeback, but the one against the Nets was horrible. (whole team was) However, it's not worth playing him and reinjuring him.
Maybe it's best for him to sit out the rest of the season. He doesn't look like he'll be anywhere close to where he was last year, and the Suns were doing just fine without him.
i picked him up for 2 days in my basketball league then had to waive him again hope he can play well next season
Hope Amare doesn't become the next Antonio McDyess. I love watching him play. He better take off the rest of the season and get healthy during the summer.
i just hope the best for him. he is a very good player and he is only 23. he has tons of room to improve and may turn out to be a very dominant player. i just hope he does whats best for him. if that means not playing ball for the entire season and the playoffs? so be it
You could tell something was wrong when VC blocked his shot. Id set him out for the rest of the season, prolly even the playoffs. To make sure he dont become a grant hill, or penny. Id say mcdyss but i believe he could still be an impact player on a team.

I still believe Amare came back too early. If it ain't broke, why fix it? He should have come back a few games before the playoffs just to familiarize himself again. He's needed in the playoffs, not really now. I'm sure they'd rather have a 100% amare in the playoffs rather than a less than 100% amare in the regular season
