<div align="center"> Detroit Pistons 55-14 30-3 at home 54-16 24-12 away record </div> Date: Monday, March 28th, 2006 Time: 7:30 PM CT TV: FSN Southwest Mavericks Starting 5:
- Jason Terry - Jerry Stackhouse - Rawle Marshall - Dirk Nowitzki - Desagana Diop
Detroit Starting 5: - Chauncey Billups - Richard Hamilton - Tayshaun Prince - Rasheed Wallace = Ben Wallace This will be a tough matchup for Dallas, with key players (Josh Howard and Devin Harris) still sidelined with injuries. Without a doubt the matchup that will decide tonights game will be at the PF position. Dallas will need to come up big on the rebounds.
I listened to the 4th quarter. The Mavs jumped on the Pistons and started to build a lead. Then Billups hit 2 3-pointers while Stackhouse got stripped twice. Then Wallace, the 'Sheed variety, hit a couple of shots while Terry and Nowitzki threw up bricks. It was basically a 2 pt. Piston lead for the rest of the quarter. We had no answer for Billups. He's a clutch. When Detroit played their best for the last 8 minutes, Dallas just could not or did not match the defensive challenge; the only hope being outside shots which missed.
ennk wrong, Dirk at least was shooting really good in the 4th, Terry was doing ok. We were down by 4 and had the ball. Stack drove to the hoop and tried to dish a pass back out only to turn it over. I think there was like 32 seconds left in the game. Plenty of time to score, attempt a stop at the other end then go for the win or OT. That was the bungle of the game. Also Terry was having an off shooting night. And we were losing the rebound game. Thats why we lost.
Without wanting to speculate or have an excuse for this loss, if Howard and Harris were healthy, I am sure we would have win this one.

Listening on the computer it sounded like Dallas played well at the start of the 4th, got on top and got a lead, and then sounded like Billups started hitting everything he threw up; for about a minute it sounded like Stackhouse lost the ball twice, once to Prince while driving, followed by a Wallace jumper and another Billups long ball. Nothing seemed to drop for Nowitzki once the Pistons got back ahead. Nowitzki has been real good in the 4th quarter this year when I've listened. I have no problem with a .600 record in April as long as no one panics and brings Howard back too soon. Right now Dallas is like a steak with no potato, but nothing ruins a steak like an undercooked potato.
