<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">HOUSTON (AP) -- Seattle forward Rashard Lewis sat out the SuperSonics' game in Houston on Wednesday night with a sprained right ankle.

The 6-foot-10 Lewis, Seattle's second-leading scorer, had 14 points when he turned his ankle with 3:12 left in the Sonics' 98-97 win over Memphis on Tuesday night.

Seattle coach Bob Hill said the sprain wasn't serious. He was hoping Lewis could play in Friday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

"I don't think it's a real bad sprain, but it's very sore, so he's not going to play tonight," Hill said. "I assume it will be a day-to-day situation."

Lewis, a Houston native, had missed only one game this season after bruising his right quadriceps in February. </div>

And we're down 30 to a team with no McGrady.

    Awesome.

^ LOL to odde23...ah Sonics are a major disappointment to me this year...this is almost as bad as the game I watched 2 years ago, Sonics vs. Pistons in our own home stadium. (lost by 35 I think?)

Had Ray Allen played in that Piston game two years ago instead of whining to the papers and then faking an illness we wouldn't have looked that bad that night.

Nice touch that he scored 44 points two nights later.

I was surprised that Sweet Lew even played tonight. Even though he was tremendously passive and ineffective I am glad that he didn't mail this season in and milk this injury for all that it was worth.
