<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Boston Herald - Fans of the 29 other teams aren't the only ones enjoying the struggles and turmoil of the New York Knicks this season. ?I enjoy it,? Paul Pierce said before the Celts beat the Knicks, 123-98, last night. ?It?s one of the daily soap operas I check out. I think it?s good for the NBA. You need something like this to keep people into it. You had Shaq and Kobe in L.A., and now that they?ve made up you needed something else. So you?ve got Stephon and the coach now. It?s all a soap opera. It?s just shifted to New York now.?</div> http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/397..._knicks_turmoil
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chutney:</div><div class="quote_post">You and me both, Paul.</div> Same here. Always fun to read/hear drama going on in New York.

Exactly, if you watched the last 3 seasons of the Knicks, you would known guys who can't create their ownshot like Fyre and THomas got majority of their points from pick and roll plays with Marbury. Isiah Thomas and Dolan are the laughing stock of the NBA, I do not associate with these fools. Plus I know the Knicks are bad, I state it more than anyone in this site. Lets be creative here.
Meh Knicks have THE most talent on their team but THE worst record. It makes no sense to me.....then again there is Marbury........ But I hate the fact that Pierce has said that publicly and making a joke about the Knicks' problems. What a jackass IMO, you don't need to say that about the league that its filled with drama. Its a good thing his team is doing so much better
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting j0se:</div><div class="quote_post">If Marbury is a cancer, then how many points will Fyre average?</div> Good point and I agree but it still remains that he is the main reason the Knicks are doing so terrible.......but thats just my opinion.... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Isiah Thomas and Dolan are the laughing stock of the NBA, I do not associate with these fools.</div> They really are....*sigh*.....Isiah is like a child that throws away money overpricing everyone. I get paranoid when I hear a Knicks trade rumor, cause I know 99% of the time Isiah has that litlte concept of "more atheletic, younger" But he really means more untradable contracts, indivual former has been all stars, and non defensive players.
You know what else is amusing Pierce? How much attention you need to turn to a team worse than yours because yours isn't doing too well either.

New York is just going to keep going down as long as Isiah is making decisions. Toronto has Bosh (franchise player), Villanueva (all-star potential), and cap space. New York has Channing Frye (solid, but won't be an all-star), and David Lee (same as Frye), and a bunch of overpaid bums. As long as Isiah keeps trading those expiring contracts and brings in cancers such as Francis and Marbury, this team is going to go nowhere for a long time.

But how can you already predict Frye and Lee wont be all-stars or dont have the potential? Every player has something they need to work on their game. Charlie V for instance can hold his own down load but maybe can work on his outside jumpshot. Frye is almost automatic from the mid-jumper range and he needs to work closer to the rim and working off the dribble. Frye is a rookie, and if he works hard then he will get better and can be an All-star, I see potential. I also see potential in David Lee. Lee works better than Frye does close to the basket, and he can run the fast break very well. He needs to work on his jumper. Everyone needs to work on something, but I think Frye and Lee have the potential to be all-stars just like Charlie V does.
I'm okay with Fyre, he's probably the best mid range shooting big man in the world, but I see him as a limited player. He has showed potential to be a banger, but lets hope. I expect a Juwan Howard type career. As for David Lee...another a very poor man's Kirilenko without the shot blocking.... Energy player who plays off offense, isn't involved in plays, look for offensive rebounds, all over the place.
All in all I think the Knicks have a bright future, but have the wrong people driving the car. But I dont wanna get too off-topic here because we have already done enough so.
