    WOW!

Some of the attempted dunks were insane, Rodney Carney took off a foot behind the FT line at least on that one try. I wish he could of gotten that to fall because Carney had something else up his sleeve I bet [IMG]

James White is amazing. He tried that under the legs from the FT Line and almost made it. That would of been sick.

The biggest disappointment of the night has got the be Maurice Ager. For arguably the most athletic player in the competition, his dunks were plain, boring, and just uninspired. It seemed like he was completely drained of energy. Maybe it's because of the way MSU went out this year.

And where was Hassan Adams? He would have been my favorite to win it all had he competed. I also would have liked to see Ricky Woods. I really think he's the most underrated dunker in the game.

That's what I said, Where was Hot Sauce? As for Ager the most athletic player in the competition? I don't think he could of took off like Carney tried, or even came close to James White, but he did seem bored out there. He made that 360 look so easy, why didn't he do anything cool? My favorite though was that Western Kentucky kid, he was awesome I wish he could of pulled it off and won [IMG] One more thing, why did they have Bennerman? You can get someone better than a PG from a Princeton type offense. Why not get someone that can take off, preferably a Hassan Adams.

Well, calling him the most athletic is pretty subjective, I know, but he has the same vertical leap that each of those guys has. I agree about his 360 too. He made it look too boring. I really think that if he had done some stupid thing like talk on his cell phone before the dunk and then pull up on the rim after his dunk and kick his legs, beat his chest, and yell, then he would have gotten a much higher score. The contest is all about showmanship, not necessarily difficulty.

As for Bennerman, I was saying the same thing: "Wow, can he even dunk?". Apparently he was a late addition though and not a top choice.

Flight White's dunks were f'ing insane. Not only did he pull off some crazy dunks, he makes it look so easy.

VC I agree about Ager. He was really disappointing, the dunk he was trying to do was lame as hell. I was hoping he'd go big and pull off some windmill dunks with unique angles.

David Noel's backflip was impressive, but White stole the show.

    Where was Mr. Diaz?

Diaz has this tenawhatever thing in his foot. He can't jump 44 inch vertial at this point, because I don't think he would take the chance. He just signed with an agent and is declaring for the NBA, so right now he's resting and preparing to raise his stock up.

Hite has like a 41" inch vertical leap...but its cool, I enjoyed White's preformance.

James White threw down the between the legs from the foul line dunk during Cincinnati's Midnight Madness back in Oct. There is a clip of it online somewhere. I've seen it. I was warning my boys last night he might try it. They thought I was full of ish until he tried it.

Ager was a little blah. Didn't seem like he cared to be there. Almost like he was scoffing at the fact he should be in the Final Four and was insulted to have to come. Hassan Adams should DEFINATLY have been in it!

Diaz can not be in the dunk contest even though he declared. It's strictly a Seniors only event.

And if you wanna talk about who SHOULD have been there. How about the 3 Point Contest? Where the hell was Gerry Mac? How about Redick? No all time NCAA 3pt leader. If you had Novak, Clark, Redick, G-Mac? That would have been amazing. As it was, Stevie held it down, even if he did get smoked by the girl's Champ. (which the men get lambasted every year in that)

Darn I missed my boy David Noel throw down some dunks, anybody have a video of the dunks? Looks like there's going to be a lot of guys in for the NBA contest next year with Carney and White.

David Noel's windmill was awesome but James White dunks were out of control. I would've liked him to try something else not invlolving the free throw line though. Any news on Carney's injury?

That guy from Western Kentucky could also fly, Rumph i believe. If he woulda threw down one of those dunks in the second round i believe he woulda won.

You mean ElGrace Wilborn. He wore the name Rumph on his jersey in honor of his teammate, Danny Rumph, who collapsed and died in practice.

His dunks were ok, but I didn't like the fake under the leg dunk he got away with.

Yeah, same here. With the under the leg fake. Someone else did a complete under the leg and got a lower score than Wilborn's.

(OT: 3 point contest - Why wasn't Redick in it? Was he completely distroyed over not winning a national championship?)
