wow, he'd be great. He has the body of the type of person we need. A Sg or sf. I think he'll be great, but i dont think we'll get him since Rockets already got Frahm.
Lazy player, streaky shooter, bad defender. I think we should pass up on him. He's not going to get playing time over Bogans, Head and Frahm, and his work ethic would probably land him in JVG's doghouse anyways. There's not much left of the season, and he'd probably get a better deal elsewhere.

He even landed 6-6 from 3's in only like 10 minutes at the most of playtime in a playoff game. Garbage? Wouldn't say that but he isn't GREAT either.

Consistency is what we need from the three-point line, and none of our players right now can provide that. I just don't see Rush developing into anything more than a bench player for a playoff team. Why bother signing him when we can just play the guys we have?
Maybe not. I'd rather develop Luther Head, though I thought Kareem's 30+ plus point explosion against the Pacers was insane.
He could be a pretty good scorer off the bench. I think we should get him if we still think we can make a run for the playoffs if not we are just taking away from the development luther head and bogans. He seems pretty atheletic so i believe he can probably be a decent defender in a good defensive system. He could thrive in a new situation and be like Mike James one game 23pts the next game 2pts. So what do you all think?
We should definitely get him. Have you guys seen how crazy he went off in Game 6 of the Western Conference Final two years ago for the Lakers? Besides, he can always go back to the bench on his off-shooting nights. Who cares if he's inconsistent? He's great bench player.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Locke:</div><div class="quote_post">Lazy player, streaky shooter, bad defender</div> That pretty much sums it up. No point in signing him to a contract.

Even if someone scores 5 a game, if he can do it consistently, then you at least know what to expect. The last thing we need is another Stromile Swift. You just can't plan around him because you never know what you'll get out of him.
Kareem rush is BETTER than frahm, bogans, bowen combined. He fits the bill and he would improve the team. Unlike bogans, bowen, and frahm, He would make the open 3 when yao and tmac is double teamed. The lazy "work ethic" rumors are just based on the coach's opinion. And i;d rather get a streaky shooter than some 1 who averages 5 pts sorry abt that.. Every nba players goes through their streaks..
Rush is also young so take that into consideration guys. He still has time to develop and from what I understand nobody really bothered with him. Lakers already had Kobe so whatever he did off the bench didn't matter and Bobcats had him for about a whole season since they got him midway thru last season and released him here.

Thus, there really isn't any need for Rush since he'd probably just create a jam there. The lazy work ethic is something I really don't like about him. You say its based on the coaches opinion, but what else would you base it on? Hypothetically a GM that really doesn't watch him play or work in practice? In my opinion, the coach knows the player the best. Plus, this is the freakin Bobcats we're talking about. They are probably the hardest working team in the NBA, and if they don't want to put up him, why should we? So what you're saying about the streaky part, you want another player like Stromile Swift? Because he pretty much fits your description, even though he plays powerforward and is trash. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Rush is also young so take that into consideration guys. He had a couple good games here and there, but more than likely he'd come up with a bad shooting night. And when he isn't scoring, there really isn't much else to his game. Stromile Swift is young too, but it really doesn't get him anywhere. In my opinion, I think the Rockets need someone that is not only young, but plays the game smart and can defend well.
If we get him, I dont think he is going to effect the team much. Plus he wont get any minutes playing behing bogans/head

Defensively, Rush might have a slight edge, but I'd rather keep Frahm. Bogans took over Rush's job in Charlotte, I don't know how you determine Bogans is worse? I think you have to really look at the opportunity Rush was given, only for him to screw it up. The Bobcats made the trade with the expectations of Rush being the long term starting SG in Charlotte. It was his job to lose, and not only did he lose the starting job, he was cut by the worst team in the league.
