<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr. Taz:</div><div class="quote_post">u can see some of the rockets players now are just giving up... they know therez nothing to play for!!! i really think that if we had a winning record and we were playing for something we would look much better then this and ull see players hitting shots.</div>

I disagree. I don't remember the Rocket role players ever playing good ball for a long stretch of time. Even when the playoffs were in sight, noone played very well.

MAAAAN KOBE IS TAKING OVER!!!! WINNING BY 12 ALREADY:s</div>

He could be useful off the bench next season with the vets minimum. That is if he can still keep up on D and start knocking down his wide open 3s more often. JVG will most likely want him resigned.

At least we are getting rid of bowen.

but jvg publicly criticized him. he said something along the lines of him having trouble finding a team to play for next season.

wesely should go and bowen must go.... if ur looking for a good bakup SG to keep then keep BOGENS!!! he's young, its only his 3rd or 4th year... he's only gonna get better. Wesely is way to old now and bogens can do wat bowen does for us and pluse he is better shooter and stronger then bowen.

JVG should have mixed his defense up more in the 3rd quarter. When Kobe Bryant got to his first 11 points, JVG should have started sending double teams over to break Kobe's flow and get the ball out of his hands.

I also couldn't believe how quick the Rockets stopped going to Yao in the 2nd half. He picked up the 3rd foul early on Kwame Brown, but the Rockets weren't looking for him like they did in the 1st half.

Also Bill Walton made a comment about how the Rockets have never taken advantage of Yao's passing. I've been complaining about this since the Rockets drafted him. Yao has amazing courtvision and with his height he can easily see over the top of the defense. He has great touch with his passes and can use both hands to deliver the ball.

The Rockets have zero communication on defense and it leads to mis-assignments and poor defensive rotation.

I had an open minded level of respect for you upon seeing your name. But each and every post has become increasingly senseless. Wesley has been our shooter this year, as sad as that may be. Bogans isn't getting any better, he's a gritty defender that hustles. That's it, end of story. However, Bogans does not have the intensity level of Ryan Bowen. Only players that know that their entire NBA career is based on their heart play like Ryan Bowen. Ryan Bowen is not the fastest, strongest, or best shooter on this Rockets team. But he is one of their best players in some respects. He never takes a play off, hes always hustling, and you can sense that he truly loves the game. Before you bash Ryan Bowen, take a look at Stromile Swift and ask yourself what the real problem is again.
