The best player in the NFL is LaDanian Tomlinson, he is an absolute class act! I know it is early but he has caught a 35 yard TD pass and has a 7 yard TD run and 49 yards running. He is my MVP as of now and doesn't look like it will be changing, as soon as they put the ball in his hands they start winning! Thank god I started ihm on my Fantasy Team!
Steve Smith, he is unstopable. He caught a 80 yards TD in the middle of a pack of lion defenders and blew right past them
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Hawk)</div><div class='quotemain'>Steve Largent!</div> Could of swore he retired. Tomlinson is the best, how many players in the league score every game, and can run, catch, and THROW for multiple TDs a season.
he threw a TD today, that is two for the season. That is more than Daunte Culpepper! lol He is unbelivable!
are some of you serious actually saying that LT is not the best player in the game. Hes the best by a long shot there is no arguement hes the most dominant players in the game

So umm yea. And panthers despite his great stats this year so far i dont think Smith is clearcut choice for best wr in the league. Sure hes got great stats but right now i dont think so. Maybe in a few years hes still young isnt he he'll start getting attention soon enough if he keeps it up.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>LT is the best at RB, but at WR it would have to be Steve Smith he has 7 TDs this year</div> Randy Moss over Steve Smith on pure talent alone! LT is the best overall player in the game though.

Moss is doubled on every route. He is also sometime tripled covered. Moss is the most talented WR probably ever to play the game. That don't mean he plays harder than anyone else. Your basing it on stats. Do they keep track of when a WR makes a great block. Hines Ward is a logical canidate then. As of now I'll take Moss,Owens,Harrison,Ward,Chad Johnson, and Torry Holt over Steve Smith. Mushin Muhammed lead the league in every category last season receiving wise. Did you consider him the best?

Did you consider him the best?</div> awesome point with Muhammed i was just about to say it, hes got it exactly right do u consider him the best in the league because he had the most yards last season, or TDs. Smith isnt the best in the league he just isnt. Just because of his TDs and his offense doesnt mean u can just place him ahead of guys like Moss, Owens Johnson etc etc. Imagine what those guys can do with teh situations Smith had been in, i'd say i would take them over him to be on my team too. Sure Smith is one of the most dangerous Wrs in the league but he definatly isnt the best. And i have a feeling ur just saying he is the best because hes on ur team. What if you were a Bengals fan, would Smith still be the best WR in the league. Something to think about...

On that 80 yard TD we went through 5 guys to the endzone. Steve Smith can take a one yard pass and make it a 80 yard TD

I've seen the affect of not having Randy Moss take a playoff team and turn them into a JOKE. Steve Smith is NOT the best WR in the NFL.

Especially a torn one. Why are you avoiding the Muhammed question? I also said that LT was the best PLAYER IN THE NFL. I will also say that Randy Moss is the most gifted WR in the game today and the best. TO and Torry Holt are a close 2 and 3. Harrison and Ward are on the same terms. Both do what is needed and both are tough as nails. Johnson is probably the next of the list and then you get into your Steve Smith territory. Do you really consider Steve Smtih to be the best WR in football. The best PLAYER IN FOOTBALL!!! I am betting it's like J-E-T-S said. It's probably because he's a Carolina Panther.
