We lost, and once again i blame this loss on Mike James. He was just shooting bricks, and prevented the raptors from winning when we had so many chances. But on the other hand, i was impressed with Charlie V, Joey Graham, and especially (first timer) HOFFA!
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"Sometimes me and the rim just don't agree," James said. "For 20 of the shots tonight me and the rim weren't really on good terms. I think I did something to her last night. I normally treat her good, talk to her nice. I don't ever curse her out, but tonight maybe she was a little mad at me, but that's all right. I'm going to give her flowers and candy before the next game." </div> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2006040228 lmaooo...mike is a officially crazy
I don't know if I can blame it on Mike James. Now it's easy to say he didn't close out the game, but let's put things in perspective here, when we gave Mike James the ball to win the game, he got to the basket and had a close shot. When we gave MoPete the ball, he had an up and down that wasn't called and shot an air ball. Mike James is the only guy we have on the court that can create for himself well enough to have the ball in those situations. He did shoot terribly, but he's also had 4 straight games with 10+ assists.
CV31 set a raptors rookie record w/ 18 rebounds tonight. all in all pretty impressive season for him.
Want a career game? Come face the Raptors! Once again, that tagline speaks the truth as Chris Paul records his first career triple double. On the other hand, I was impressed with Joey Graham and Charlie V. Hopefully Mitchell can give Joey another shot at the starting rotation. BTW, how about Hoffa? 10/8, not bad.
