Jackson questioned why the Bobcats couldn't leave Rush on the inactive list and waive him as soon as the season ended. He didn't hide his interest in acquiring Rush - both when he returned as coach last summer and possibly again this summer. "When I came back, one of my first considerations was can we get Kareem Rush back here to play on this basketball club," Jackson said. "I do value his game and hope that he has a good career." </div>
I'd rather sign the other ex-Laker current Bobcat, Jumaine Jones. I expect the Lakers to bring back Laron Profit next season, so I don't see much room left in the backcourt. Kobe - Smush - Sasha - Green - Von Wafer - Profit

Kobe - Smush - Sasha - Green - Von Wafer - Profit</div> Do anything, Mitch, just don't sign Jumaine Jones. I've had enough of his defense and poor shot selection when he was with the Lakers. He has one of the worst perimeter defense in the entire league, and he shoots too much 3-pointers. He would also require the MLE, and if we sign someone like Rush (who'll only take the LLE), we'll still have the MLE to sign someone good like Reggie Evans.
I actually like Jumaine Jones. From what I've seen from him, he isn't that bad of a defender, and he is a good rebounder and 3 PT shooter. Definitely more well rounded than Kareem Rush.
Jones and Rush would be a nice addition but, i rather have Rush instead because he knows the triangle.
i like jones more than rush. i think jones is a more consistent player than rush is. he has definetly shown with his time with the bobcats that he can score. i think he can be a great player off the bench for us. i think that next season with devean george most likely gone, we can add another small forward like jones to take his minutes
