He topped the 30-point mark 10 times, including three 35-plus point efforts (vs. Memphis, at Boston and at New York). Anthony helped the Nuggets achieve their best seven-game road trip in franchise history (5-2) and hit his fourth game-winning shot this season, at Indiana on March 15.</div> Congrats to Carmelo. He's a great scorer, good passer, and is an average defender (where he has improved a lot), now all he has to do is improve his rebounding.
I feel so happy for the guy. He is constantly trying to keep up with Lebron and Wade in this competition they seem to have. And not makin all star really hurt him inside. You can just tell. This is why an honour like this really helps him regain some respectability in that debate with Wade and Lebron and I hope he continues his stellar play in playoffs.
^ Word. He has matured A LOT and is very determined to prove his critics wrong. He has played totally different ever since George Karl took over, and the way he performs in the clutch is unbelievable.

Also Carmelo is always running out on the break, so it gives him less defensive rebounding oppurtunities. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Yet still punches the ball into the stands when he gets a bad call.</div> It wasn't a bad call considering he was fouled AND GOT the call. We really frustrated him that game with the defense, it was quite funny really, I was laughing when it happened because I didn't understand why you do such a thing after you GET the call.
I have no idea why he did that, just a dumb decision. I'd say he bounced back though, as he drilled the game winner against the Lakers the next game.
