any chance he can turn into a good player for us? ive always been a big fan of his in washington, and i think he is a good player. he plays hard, with heart, he passes well and defends well. all he has to do is work on his shooting IMO. i actually think he is better than von wafer at this state. at least he plays hard and plays D. any chance he can make our roster next season?

    here's his stats from D-league:

    not bad.

He might be invited to their summer league roster again, but I doubt he makes the team. The Lakers have a lot of young guards already, and they plan on bringing a veteran on board with the MLE over the summer.

yeah, i know he will have a hard time, but what im trying to say is that i think he is a better player than von wafer. why dont they just switch positions? wafer is younger, so put him in the d-league and add conroy to the roster. i think conroy will have more of an impact than von wafer

I would guess the Lakers are still sold on Von Wafer's upside. He has great size and athleticism, which are two qualities PJax really values in a player. Conroy's chance to make the team was in the SPL. He was out played by Devin Green and Von Wafer, so he was the odd man out.

I still can't believe the Lakers picked Wafer over Ukic. They could've had their future PG. Oh well, not surprised since it's Mitch.
