That is Denver's FG% after the first half against the Clippers tonight. On target for 154 points for the night. Has any other team in recent memory shot so well over an entire half?
now its 63.3% with 9 minutes to go in the fourth quarter. score is going to be high. Right now it is 97-90
Some notes: Clippers opponent 4th quarter FG%: 39.6% [better from last game] Carmelo got so frustrated with the defense that he batted the ball into the stands and got ejected with like 2 minutes left. It was the most babyish thing I've seen in my life lol.

I'm not complaining, I'm actually rooting against the Nuggets this season for obvious reasons.

It did show some passion in some sense. All be it a passion that cost a lot but passion nonetheless. I mean people will be quick to trash on Melo for this one but people have done stupid things near ends of games. A similar circumstance in terms of stupidity was Wade last year. After missing a free throw and getting the offensive rebound. He ran to the 3 point line and went for the 3 to win the game, instead of driving for the 2 point shot. Again he got hot headed for that couple of seconds just as Melo did here. It's not that big of a deal.
Nuggets don't seem to be an emotionally stable team. They lead the league in technicals. And this was a total meltdown. If they can't keep their cool, I wonder how effective they can be in the playoffs.

Instead the Clips pulled Evans off the bench who airballed one FT and then bricked the other. I can't really say it would've won it for them because they still played very well to end the game. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Yes this was very stupid. It's not like they didn't call it, what was he angry about?
He was probably angry at the fact that his teams 20+ lead was fading fast. And yes this is a stupid reason to be mad about but it happens a lot to nuggets. I think this time it just boiled over for him and that was a shame.
