I read on the score last night (on the tickers) that they signed Andre Barett to a 2 year extension i don't know how much he signed for, but the price won't be high for sure any idea exactly what's the exact amount for the contract? Also, what you guys think of the extension in general? personally, i think that he deserves a chance to be in the league despite been undersized, he makes it up with his energy/heart/passion for the game and speed i am not saying he is super good or superstar but i think he should at least be a 3rd stringer i believe that's the first deal colangelo did for toronto in terms of retaining players...that's why i brought it up, any thoughts?
I believe it is for two years. Personally, he would make a good 3rd PG option and a good back-up in case someone goes down.
It's a 2 year deal, non-guarenteed.. Well it includes the rest of the season which is one year and then another one on top of it, however it is non-guarenteed.. which Raptors can cut/waive before a certain date without it going against their cap.
I like Barrett, I think we should do what Golden State is doing with Will Bynum. Take a real close look at him and keep him if he's better than someone we would use a pick on and/or if no one else is available he's a solid backup.

He is saying that we need to get someone else athletic on our team cuz we ONLY have Mo Pete. and BTW Barret is a 3rd stringer...they are just giving him an extended audition as the 2nd, I would say that Calderon is still the 2nd option at the point.
