Did you get to see what happened to the fan that ran on the court? When he ran on the court the cameras shifted to the fans.
Id like to see a clip of that. In the last few years there have been a lot of those fans who feel they need to get on the court. In 2004 Euro Cup in soccer a fan ran on to the field to throw a towel into Figo's face and then ran and jumped into the goal (that was one of the funniest things I've seen) and ofcourse last season a fan ran to the field to grab the ball from Brett Favre.
I hate when they move the cameras off the guy who goes on the field. Sometimes the players end up tackling the fool.

I guess they feel like more people will do it if they know they'll get on TV.
I dunno what station you guys were watchin, but on what I was watching, they didn't switch the camera. He ran in during AK's first free throw and ran into the key and just started waving his hands around. AK had already released his first freethrow and it went in. Then what I found hilarious is that Sloan ran onto the court toward the fan, but got restrained...... I swear to god Sloan was about to slug the hell out of the fan. Then 2 guys in suits came in and pulled the fan out.
^^ <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I just thought he was in the wrong spot," Sloan said. Asked what he would have done if he'd gotten to the spectator sooner, Sloan said, "I might have knocked the h—- out of him, to get him off the floor. "First of all, if you're a player, you should never let him get that far. You never know what's gonna happen," the Jazz coach added. "If I'm a player, I'm gonna get him off the floor . . . if I see some weirdo like that, then take care of business later. "You can't stand around waiting. A guy might do something crazy, and then you say, 'I wish I'd done something faster.' Knock him on his a--, and get him off the floor. If I'm a player, that's what I gotta do. I don't care if they put me in jail."</div> Link The spectator has been banned from attending Jazz games for at least one year.
This begs the question. If an NBA player DID take Sloan's advice and physically confronted the fan, would the league suspend that player? I know the league said players should never go into stands, but did they ever make it clear what actions are appropriate for a player when a fan gets on the court?
