Wade will tell you who is better. Also look at the players Wade has surrounding him. AI has never got the chance to play with that many good players on one team. So you can't say AI doesn't make his teammates better. Not many could make AI's teammates better, even so AI is still averaging about 8 assists.
Without Shaq the Heat are: 10-10 or 10-11 I believe. Give AI a team like this without Shaq. Walker Posey Zo Williams Payton Haslem and I can almost gurantee you that the Heat would be at least 5+ games over .500. AI has never been blessed as much as Wade, LeBron and Melo as far as supporting cast. These guys are still on their rookie contracts so that enables management to get solid guys around them. Just wait till those guys have to re-up and manage will be FORCED to surround those guys with mediocore talent then we will really see how good these guys are. These guys have yet to really accomplish anything. LeBron has yet to make it to the Playoffs, Wade been great but has only been playing at this level for 2 years and is average without Shaq and still has great talent around him. Plus I want to see how durable he really is. People say AI played reckless, Wade is another story, let's see how he responds when the injuries start to mount up. God forbid, but seriously the way Wade plays he is begging to break a bone one day. Before it gets out of hand, Wade supporters talk to me when Wade gets four scoring titles, an MVP, All-Star Game MVP, lead his team to the finals almost single handely, score 50+ points in multiple games in a Playoff series and makes the All-NBA first team on multiple occassions. Till then, SportsCenter highlights and All-Star selections ain't going to cut it.

Wade isn't as hard to build around as Iverson though thats why there isn't a perfect group of gus for him.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Wade isn't as hard to build around as Iverson though thats why there isn't a perfect group of gus for him.</div> If you think about it, its really not that hard. Just get a bunch of hard nosed defensive players that can move around without the ball and make jumpers. Billy King just trashed the whole concept we used when Philly got to the Finals. Iverson no doubt. Iverson inspired Wade's game.
Iverson. Wade is good as hell though, just needs a more consistent three pointer and he'll be even better, because that's not his game right now. But, if he's able to knock the 3 pointer down when he's open, he'll score a lot more.
It's funny, when ppl comparing Wade vs Kobe, alot pick Wade over Kobe. But against AI, ppl pick AI more than Wade and AI is older than Kobe . Touch call, this year, it probably Wade. But the overall, it's AI. Wade havne't accomplish anything to be compare with the already accomplish players like AI, Kobe, Tmac, VC.
We're talking about who is better between Wade & Iverson, not which one makes other players better. And you would definatley have to say Iverson is better, he has played alot longer, is alot more experienced and has more to his name than Wade does right now. Should ask this question again once Wade has retired.

Wade is a better player, RIGHT NOW. If I wanted to win a game, and I could choose between Wade and Iverson to add to my backcourt, I'd definitely choose Wade. He's a better rebounder, better defender, and he doesn't have to dominate the ball on offense to be effective.
It says who is better, not who is better right now, so I assume its who is better overall, which you have to go Iverson, as he does have that experience over Wade.

Who's better NOW is implied. Who cares who's better "overall"? Would you say that Gary Payton is better than Dwyane Wade, since he's had the lengthier and more accomplished career? Obviously if someone asked "Who's better, Payton or Wade?" they want to know who's better right now. The question you're answering is "Who's had the greater career?" It's a completely different question.
Iverson is better because he can go low and take it outside and also is one of the top leaders in steals in the NBA. I believe the question was whos better not whos teams better... =)

What I disagree with him with is the answer to that implied question. I am tempted to go with a "not enough information" on this one. As many people have said, Iverson has not had the luxury of as good a cast of players as Wade... that being said I would not want to punish Wade for something thats not his fault and is certainly not a downfall... the question to me is could Dwayne Wade lead a mediocre bunch of players to a .500 record even in the weaker East or, alternatively, could Iverson do as well as Wade or better given as strong a supporting cast? I don't know... Iverson has never had to lead a strong team anywhere... and Wade hasn't had to lead a mediocre team to the playoffs. If I were to use conjecture I am however tempted to go with Iverson because I know what he can do with a good team of hustlers and roleplayers (not great ones). I feel that if he could have lead that Philly team to the finals then surely he could possibly win the whole thing. Stats-wise Iverson is as good as anyone in the league and is statistically having his best season ever. Its hard to call...
Iverson. Wade hasn't proven to me that he can win consistant games without Shaq. Wade is still a rookie, along with LeBron, Carmelo etc.. They are on a different level to the vets like Iverson. With experiance, I'm sure Wade will end up catching Iverson, but right now, Iverson leads him. I'm actually going to go ahead and say Iverson is better than James.
