<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">PHILADELPHIA -- Whoever gets the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs doesn't have much hope of going far. The Detroit Pistons figure to see to that. But even if they end up eighth, the Bulls want to be there, coach Scott Skiles said Wednesday night. For the reason, look no further than Bulls forward Luol Deng. Last spring Deng missed the Bulls' first playoff appearance in seven years because of a wrist injury. He says he missed out on something special, even though the Bulls lost to the Wizards in the first round. "It means a lot for me," Deng said of a potential berth. "Last year it was hard just watching. I'm really excited now." Said Skiles: "Those experiences--a coach can explain to you what's it all about. Until you get in and go through it, talking really doesn't mean anything." Success story With only 35 victories, the Bulls have taken several steps back from last season's 47. Still, Skiles says he isn't disappointed. "We're a team that's in transition from six years of having the worst record in the league," he said. "We like our young players an awful lot. No matter what happens, I'm going to view this season as a good season."</div> Source
I’m pretty excited to see this team in the playoffs as well. A couple of weeks ago I was questioning weather or not making the playoffs would be good or bad for this team. However, with their recent play, they have restored my faith in them. Although, I don’t see them beating the Pistons. I think they might be able to move up the seventh seed, and give the Heat a tough series. The Bulls are catching fire at just the right time.
Well our schedule favor us to make at least the 8th spot. I dont want the bulls to miss the playoffs. I dont care it it would mean an extra draft pick. Our players need to get used to being in the playoffs. If they make it a habbit of making it to the playoffs chances are better of winning a chip. I do beleive we need to make some moves in the off season (bigman). BUt the future is bright for us. Beleive it or not alot of players envy our team. We just go out and play ball. There is no crying no sobing just tuff basketball. Go Bulls!!!!
