I dont know if this has been done, if it has sorry but if the playoffs atarted to day who would you like to see face each other and who would you pick to win it all?
should be a GREAT postseason this is going to be the best postseason since 2002! Before the season began, it was Spurs then everyone else in the West, and Detroit/Miami, then everyone else in the East. It seemed that the consensus was that there was no parity. Turns out the West has a TON of parity, and Cleveland and New Jersey are showing how dangerous they can be. But the West now appears to be Wide Open: THE CLIPPERS showed last night that they have a well-balanced offense, are playing unselfish basketball, and they have something that very few teams have - 2 big guys down low in Kaman and Brand. Teams with 2 guys down low often do great in the playoffs. I think they are a sleeper Finals team. DALLAS are way better than anyone thought and a much better defensive team and have a very good record against the best teams in the league. They can also get to the finals. PHOENIX have the most potent offense in the league and when they're on, can beat anyone. They have the best leadership in the West. And leadership can sometimes overcome other weaknesses. The way SACRAMENTO played last night, they also looked like a potential Western Conference Finals team. They have a lot of talent and the way they were sharing the ball and defending last night, look out. They completely neutralized Tony Parker - when the Lakers found out how to do that a couple of years ago it got them to the finals. SAN ANTONIO has some weaknesses - to me they are not as cohesive as last year - too many cooks sometimes spoil the soup. Finley and Van Exel seem unsure of their roles, and who is their center anyway, Nazr or Rasho? In other words, I think any of those five teams has a legitimate shot of getting to the NBA finals... In the east, it's a little more of an obvious postseason, but in addition to Miami, Detroit has to deal with New Jersey. No matter how good Detroit's defense is, there are some players that no defense will stop. i.e. Vince Carter. With all respect to the Cavs, no way are they going to the finals this year. They're just not ready yet.
