<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">DENVER (Ticker) - Denver Nuggets rookie guard Julius Hodge was the victim of a shooting early Saturday morning. According to CBS4Denver.com, Hodge was heading eastbound on I-76 near I-25 when an unknown vehicle pulled alongside his and opened fire, with rounds striking the former North Carolina State star in his lower extremities. Hodge then stopped his vehicle in the middle of the road and flagged down another motorist, who picked up the guard and his passenger and transported Hodge to the hospital, the report said. "We have learned that Julius Hodge was the victim of a shooting this morning," Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe said. "There is no apparent motive for this shooting and detectives from the Adams County Sheriff's Office are investigating the incident. "First and foremost, our primary concern is Julius' health. The doctors have informed us that he is in fair condition and is expected to make a full recovery. That is all the information we have at this time. We ask that you respect his privacy." </div> Source This is terrible news. Prayers go out to the Hodge family.
wow! didnt monta ellis get shot too? i will pray for him, but studies have shown that prayer isnt the best way to go.........
I pray for Julius to come back and play in the NBA. Who ever drove by and shot him is dsigraceful and distasteful. There are better ways to solve problems..

Being from Harlem myself, it hurts me to hear of this news. I've always supported Julius Hodge and hope he makes a speedy recovery.
