Kobe is one of if not the best offensive players in the league. The one thing the Clippers dont need is Kobe catching fire, because once he does, he will be unstoppable. <font color=""blue"">Elton Brand:</font> The Clippers have one of the best players in the league, and someone who IMO should be a contender for the MVP. Brand has done it all this season. He's scoring, rebounding, and playing good defense. But tonight, he will be going up against a very tough defender in Kwame. He must use all his skills and beat Kwame in the matchup. <font color=""blue"">Start Out Strong:</font> With a starting line of Cassel, Mobley, Maggette, Brand, and Kaman, the Clippers have a lot of fire power. They should look to start things out strong and take a commanding lead. <font color=""Purple"">Lakers:</font> <font color=""purple"">Play Smart:</font> This is a crucial game for the Lakers. It could detirmine whether or not they will be the 8th seed or the 7th seed, or maybe even falliing out of the playoffs. With that being said, they must not make stupid mistakes and limit their turnovers. The Clipppers are a good team and we need all the help we can get. <font color=""purple"">Kwame Brown:</font> Kwame faces a big challenge tonight against one of the best players in the league. But he has shown many times that he is not afraid to back down. Kwame must start the game being aggressive and not let Brand get easy shots. On the offensive end, he must be able to finish easy layups and dunks. All in all, Kwame Brown will be key if we want to win. <font color=""purple"">Come In With Heads Up High:</font> Now is not the time for the Lakers to feel sorry for themselves. Sure, they have lost 2 games in a row, but they must look on the bright side. They were on a little winning streak before the losses, and most of all, they are in the playoffs. With that being said, they must come in with their heads up high, and represent the purple and gold. <font color=""purple"">The Clippers are a good team, but the Lakers have shown this season that they are capable of beating them. With that being said, i just dont see the Lakers losing this one. They all know how important this game means for their playoff race, so they must come out with complete effort. I see the Lakers winning, 96-89. Kobe will pull us through.</font> <font color=""Purple"">In our last meeting with the Clippers, Smush Parker came up with a huge steal to seal the game!</font> </div>

This should be a payback game for the one they torched us on BSPN which was on a back to back.

I definitely agree with you that now is not the time for them to feel sorry for themselves. They need this win big time because right now they are in the 8th seed and the Hornets are only like 2 games out...I know it's doubtful New Orleans makes it, or the Jazz for that matter, but we can't take these next five games for granted. Kobe is probably extremely pissed about these last two losses and will somehow will this team to a victory.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dtpxcore:</div><div class="quote_post">did we just move to the 8th seed.</div> yes, after we lost against the suns and the kings beat the clippers. we have the same record as the kings, but they have the tie breaker so we have to settle being 8th

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dtpxcore:</div><div class="quote_post">we do match up better with the spurs then the suns.</div> Maybe.....I think Mihm,Turiaf, and Brown could play a big role in stopping the Suns. The Suns have 0 big men so I would rather have the Lakers v. Suns in the playoffs. Big men means you can abuse them in the paint severly.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting phiLA:</div><div class="quote_post">you can go to espn, yahoo, or nba.com i usually get them from yahoo</div> Where do you go in those sites to get them? Also Lakers off to a good start. Up by 5 at halftime (45-50)
Good win! We got four games left. I love Luke. He wears the number 4. Start him the rest of the way. Till Mihm is back. Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke!

A player that does 10x better coming off the bench.
This game was veryyy convincing! We played extremely well and Luke did a great job, not to forget Lamar!
