He also said he was confident he could correct whatever needs correcting. With only seven games remaining, beginning with tonight's game in Chicago, his time frame obviously includes the offseason.

"I've got a job to do," he said. "This is frustrating. This is bleep."

Having said that to a reporter, King was asked whether he had said the same thing to the players.

"What do you think?" he replied.

Whatever decisions are made, chairman Ed Snider made it clear last night on Comcast SportsNet's "Daily News Live" that King would definitely remain part of the process.

"I know the decisions that he's made, I know the reasons that he's made them, I know how they've turned out, I know why they've turned out a certain way, and I'm not about to second-guess, because I personally went along with those decisions, our entire organization was behind those decisions and it hasn't jelled," Snider said.

Snider said he was on board with the decision to surround Allen Iverson and Chris Webber "with some young talent and blend it and hope that it could make progress over the progress that we made last year, and that didn't happen."

"Now, why it didn't happen, I don't know," he said. "I intend to listen to everyone in the organization to find out why it didn't happen."

I don't know if its possible.

This team doesn't have any flexibility in the salary cap, so they won't be able to sign any big name free agents.

As far as trades go, they don't have much vauble trade bait. There is Dalembert, teams might try him if they are looking for a bigman with "potential".

It'll be intersting to see how Mr.Queen..excuse me King, is going to fix this mess in Philadelphia.
