http://www.gpfoundation.org/aboutus.php Omg lol I would have never thought it possible but GP has a foundation , how unexpected

Quoting Franchise4Ever:

P.S. This smiley , is now to be refered to as Gary Payton
Na Rasheed Wallace still takes the cake on this one. Payton is a pretty big trash talker, but Rasheed Wallace is on a nother level.
I think he brings a lot more to the Heat than just his mouth. All season he's contributed to the success of this team and I think he's done a great job of being a role player to Shaq and Wade. If you have any doubt in your mind the level of contribution that GP has put forth, just wait till playoff time... I would venture to say he'll step his game up a whole nother level and be an important factor in winning the Eastern Conference and Finals. It's sad that some people find that having a Foundation for those who are less privileged to be funny.

Ok we all know Gary Payton talks trash but so does everyone else what's the need for this thread? Do you not like him because he left L.A.???

Quoting Franchise4Ever:

All this guy does is bring arguements and yelling to the court(To Miami), I was wondering if anyone had some stats on him, I wanna know how many technical fouls he's had in his career and how much in each season.
I was curious about this also. Looked it up, and here are the numbers with comparison to Rasheed Wallace.
CODE

Gary Payton
-----------

YrTmMinEjTechMin/Tech
-------------------------
1991Sea224400-
1992Sea254917364
1993Sea254808319
1994Sea2881026111
1995Sea3015223131
1996Sea3162326122
1997Sea3213215214
1998Sea3145017185
1999Sea200822196
2000Sea3425317201
2001Sea3244014232
2002Sea3301014236
2003Sea/Mil3208117189
2004Lal2825412235
2005Bos2541014182
2006Mia224007320
-----------------------
total4554918238191

CODE

Rasheed Wallace
---------------

YrTmMinEjTechMin/Tech
-------------------------
1996Was178822185
1997Por1892211172
1998Por2896219152
1999Por1414212118
2000Por284573875
2001Por294074074
2002Por2963227110
2003Por2684011244
2004Por/2390118133
Atl/Det
2005Det2687127100
2006Det2719117160
-----------------------
total2721827241113

Payton's more irritable years were 94-96 and 99 (the lockout season). While he has a ton of technical, Rasheed Wallace actually has more career technicals despite playing in just under 60% the number of games. You can see his minutes/tech rate is much lower. There were a couple seasons where Rasheed averaged a technical every other game!
