Before tonights game Mike Brown said, "He's been playing a lot of heavy minutes so I'm going to back off his minutes a little bit". He then proceeded to play LeBron for 20 minutes in the first half of tonights game. I guess i'll reserve judgement until i see what he does with him in the second half, but it's rather unusual to make such a statement then play him so much in a meaningless game.
Well, LeBron played the entire 3rd quarter. So he's played 32 minutes of a possible 36 already. Way to reduce his minutes, Cavs.
Are you angry or something? There's no reason to lose the rhythm that the Cavs have right now. In a blowout or a game the Cavs lead for most of the night, I expect Brown to sit LBJ for longer, but tonight, he wanted to win the game.

The guy is 21 and he's already had three years of playing 40+ minutes a night. If he continues he be used for 43 minutes a night in meaningless games he'll be broken down before he's 30. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting briang8818:</div><div class="quote_post">In a blowout or a game the Cavs lead for most of the night, I expect Brown to sit LBJ for longer, but tonight, he wanted to win the game. </div> That's not what he said though. He said, unoquivically, that he would reduce LeBron's minutes the rest of the way. He then played him for 43 minutes in a meaningless game. Why even say it when it clearly isn't true?
Again today LeBron had played 31 (of a possible 36) minutes, in a massive blowout, when he hurt himself. I hope they now look after him rather than running him into the ground in stupid, meaningless games.
