Yeah, the Rockets' season has been finished since T-mac has been out. If the Rockets are going to make the playoffs next year, they can't keep going down with injuries.

ESPN just said that he'll be out for 6 month... so that means he might even miss training camp... this is soooo unbelievable

As long as there are no lingering effects once he does get on the court, I'm not terribly concerned. Except ...

He might not be in basketball shape, if he's unable to train properly in the offseason. Anthony Falsone makes a big deal about how Yao's training is the reason for his emergence (which isn't a surprise coming from him). Will Yao take a couple step backwards, basketball-wise, because of this? Might we have witnessed the first and only season in which Yao puts up 20/10 averages?

Man, I feel sorry for the rockets. An entire season was wasted. The only thing I'm worried about right now is yao and mac staying healthy. What if yao comes back next season and messes up his foot again? And what if mac injures his back again. We can't afford to have another season like this one. I hope the 6 months are enough for him to rest his foot up. If yao stays healthy we'll see 20 and 10 from him. If he messes up his foot again I don't think we"ll see it. Evryone needs to come back healthy next year.... If we want a shot at the second round

If it takes 6 months to heal he'll be out for part of next season as well.

This pisses me off because If your team has no chance of making the playoffs your star players should rest up the rest of the season. Especially Yao, who has to play for China during the summer.

Look what happens...Yao gets injured. Screw selling tickets at the Toyota Center (even though they are more than 2/3 of them are empty). [IMG]
