<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"It's always fun when you're winning basketball games," Iverson said after a 116-96 win over New Jersey Wednesday night at Continental Airlines Arena. "You can always say you want to go out and have fun regardless, but it's hard to have fun when you're not winning. Just getting these games, it has been fun. I think the best part of it all is seeing other guys succeed, seeing other guys do things.

"We've just got confidence in ourselves right now and we just need to keep it for the rest of the season and not worry about what other teams are doing."

Iverson had 40 points, 10 assists and just one turnover Wednesday and has averaged 35 points (on 44.2 percent shooting) and 8.7 assists in the three wins.

The Sixers haven't been known for their defense this season, but they've played better all-around basketball in the past three games -- particularly on the defensive end and on the boards.

They outrebounded the Nets 45-37, with help from Andre Iguodala (12 boards) and Chris Webber, who grabbed 11 rebounds in his return to the court after sitting out the previous two games with a strained lower back.

The Sixers' bench players contributed 39 points and 12 rebounds Wednesday. They got 27 points from the reserves in the win over Washington Monday.

"We know Allen's going to score, we know Chris is going to score, but we're making more of a conscious effort as we go down the stretch of these games of putting the ball in other guys' hands and letting them make plays and making them be a part of the offense," Cheeks said.

After tonight, they'll play at Orlando Saturday. The Magic have won 11 straight at home and had won six straight overall before playing at San Antonio Thursday.

Philadelphia hopes to carry some momentum over from the last three games.

"It's always important to try and win your first game on the trip because it gives you a little bit more momentum going into the other city you're going in," Cheeks said.

"All we can do is do what we can do and try and win ballgames. You realize you're in a dogfight. You're looking at Chicago, Indiana and all these teams, but all you can do is what you can do."

Said Iverson: "You just go in there confident. You realize what you did to win three games in a row and that's that."
